How do we know that you aren't going to change your mind about the secret reserve.   Why don't you just start the auction at the reserve price and if I feel it's reasonable I'll place a bid.

Edit: what is the address of the nastyfans coin? I want to verify the balance.

These are absurd stipulations. I would never bid on an auction with these terms, and I would also caution others against it.

This is most definitely absurd. I was just about to throw in a bid, and will hesitate until nonsense like this gets removed from the auction.

What are we moving towards now, a future in which auctions have mutable item listings? :D

This is one of the weirdest bids that I've seen in a while. How do you plan on shipping the chickens? Alive or grilled? :D

Is it possible to pay in Zimbabwean dollars? I am not trolling, I have a huge stack of them (I started collecting them for fun but it got out of hand). I can mail them to you or you can pick them up in person. I can pay for 50% of the shipping fee because it is really heavy.

2 goats but you must pay for shipping. Alive or dead your call on that, but we must use 5 way escrow and throw away mobile phones to fully negotiate the deal

Now that we're back to reality, could you please address the following?

Quote
I am free to remove/add items from this listings. (highest bidder can revoke their bid if this happens)
Why would you remove items in the middle of an auction? A lot of people aren't going to bid due to this.

Because I still have all of this listed individually for sale and if I get a good offer on one particular item o will accept it

There is a secret reserve.

May a suggest to publish the sha256 sum of your secret reserve? In this way can everybody check after the auction is over that the reserved has not changed, thus making the auction more transparent. Remember to add a salt or keep the text format a secret:

example 1 (secret format):
2017.01.31 Killyouall acution...... the secret reserve is 100 BTC

hash: ac5a16ebca0e12650e65e68a657d158ad06913f06d924326c4b419c3785e5ac7

example 2 (adding a salt):
100 BTC e5672fa7291cd001

hash: 4d9e5c7fd42853c197a3dc654fa7ccfdec698d52dc3ffa7f3549312c0a196a51

All you have to do is calculate the sum of your string and publish it, at the end of the auction then all you have to do is to publish your string with the reserve price. If using the salt method then just include a reasonable long and random number to the string.

WHAT? so what you are saying , if I am understanding the English language correctly, is that you have the right to cancel the auction at anytime, AND even after it has ended with a WINNER you can still deny that bid and cancel it???????

WHY ON EARTH WOULD ANYONE EVEN BID THEN? THIS MAKES NO SENSE.

PLEASE REMOVE MY BID AS I WANT NO PART OF THIS MADNESS.

I am free to remove/add items from this listings. (highest bidder can revoke their bid if this happens)

HOW CAN YOU ADD AND REMOVE ITEMS FOR AN AUCTION? WHAT ARE PEOPLE BIDDING ON THEN? WHAT IF THEY BID ON THE ITEMS LISTED, AND YOU DECIDE TO SHOW WHATS BEHIND CURTAIN # 3 WHICH IS A RUBBER CHICKEN? LOL

YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING WITH THIS THREAD ..RIGHT? YOU'RE JOKING? ...COME ON? :)

I have no plans on canceling this auction and I might even sell it under my reserve as the I need the funds urgently.

The clause about adding/removing items is so I can still sell individual items.

Since nobody as bought any of my items since I made my thread almost a month ago, I don't expect to sell any.

I do expect to be adding 3 more coins worth a retail of $200... However these will be added on the last day of the auction

you cant list items in an auction and then still want to have the opportunity to sell them elsewhere. that's not how it works and that is why no one takes you seriously man.

If you list items for sale or in auction , then those are the  items up for bid. its that simple, you cant sell them off in the meanwhile lol.

Just how a few weeks ago TMAN had an auction and his only rule was that I couldn't bid. I didnt see anyone flaming him for that.

Its my auction, I believe I can list any absurd rules I want.

Just how a few weeks ago TMAN had an auction and his only rule was that I couldn't bid. I didnt see anyone flaming him for that.

if you actually get a decent bid i would be shocked as it's a lose lose for the winner.

You can simply say sorry its cancelled lol,

good luck with your absurd rules.

Correct.

This is a false equivalency. Excluding someone from your own auction is not an absurd rule, whilst your own rule here most certainly is. It is also likely that a lot more people are going to refuse dealing with you due to this rule (be it either sales or auctions). Just look at how many dissatisfied people there are in this thread (and there's probably a lot more talk behind the scenes).

Is RMC the current high bidder?  If so, do we have to outbid him on the whole lot or can bidding still be done on specific items?

Title: Re: [AUCTION] HUGE LOT OF COINS

I can refuse any bid for any reason

I am free to remove/add items from this listings. (highest bidder can revoke their bid if this happens)

so.... your auction, your rules.

I 'll try to play by the rules here. I went through the lot of coins offered, all of them are desirable to me, and I am ready to make a bid.

I assume that this auction is a take all or nothing offer. (i.e. the winner of the auction takes all the coins that are listed, or as you state, will be listed after some possible alterations after the auction finish). There is no option to choose to take only some of the coins, but he/she HAVE to take all of them.

Before I make my bid I would like to please to make crystal clear the following.

In case that you will add those 3 additional coins to the auction list AFTER my bidding (during of after the action finish), and I really do not like them (but I will be forced to take them among the rest of the lot), can I lower my bidding as a compensation of taking extra coins that I really do not want ? (those coins will take additional storage space for me).

Will you accept alter bids after the auction have ended, or you will just accept that a "highest bidder can revoke their bid if this happens" (and hence the previous higher bidder will be the winner) as you stated?

Yes he is the highest bidder.

No you cannot bid on specific items, if you offer me a fair offer on any of them, I would be more than willing to accept

RMC is no where near the reserve however,

If you are only interested in some of the coins than make me an offer via PM

Will you allow both??

Bids aren't allowed on single items but you are free to make an offer on single items but I will probably reject it if it's not "fair"

That's called a bid, and it either meets your (undisclosed) reserve price or it doesn't. Either way, it's still a bid.

Can you post a picture of the goat, with your username and date/time on a piece of paper next to it? Maybe if you are close we can arrange a pick up.

I'd like the meat to all be sliced 0.125 inches thick

Well you own the goat so I thought you possibly had a farm or something.

Who do you want to use as escrow? Would wheels work? I live close by them, we wouldn't have to pay any shipping.

While I guess it really depends on the type of goat, its age, its sex and general health

Like I would be more willing to trade for a  poor health verata as opposed to a a healthy sable.

What kind of goat(s) do you have and are willing to trade?

If you look closely, there is a comma between sex, and general health of the goat. Meaning I am wondering the goats gender and it's general health

I know there are many non English speaking  individuals on this fourm, TMAN maybe you should read up on how commas work

I am by no means an English major, but I will do my best to answer any questions you have relating to commas and their usage

Here is your quote that is referenced to

What kind of goat(s) do you have and are willing to trade?

The bolded section there is read as "its sex and general health" meaning its sex health and general health, there is no comma. So TMan's concern is valid!

All of that said, this is one weird thread. Besides the strange format auction and (joke?) animal bartering, you also seem to be at the least showing intent to purchase deer jerky and Zimbabwe dollars. I would say I'm a tad bit confused, but amused is probably a better way to spell that.

I was under the impression that the comma was still there even tho not stated because if I added the comma it would be called an Oxford comma and is unnecessary... But I am no English major.

I have always wanted to own a goat, but Tman seems to be the one joking here. He can't tell me anything about it

And the currency is cool, I PMED them to buy some but no reasons. Same with the jerky

Lol This is great...  who is trolling who?!?!

So I PMed Lesbian Cow and havnt heard back yet, so it looks like TMAN is in the lead with offering 3 goats and 3 chickens. Hopefully they are goats meant for meat and not milk so they will be a little better. However, if it is a milking goat, we might have to arrange shipping the live goat to me because nothing beats fresh goat milk in the morning right TMAN? and if these are full grown chickens not too old I can have fresh eggs with my goat milk 3X a week.

So just to claify TMAN

I want
one goat alive
one goat dead, meat sliced thinly and the fur and every part of it sent to me.
one goat, dead, sliced in chucks, possibly even ground if you could do it, this one I would only want the fur and the horns (if any) and the ears and the feet.

Nobody is trolling anyone A10. I am seriously considering all of these offers however I would muchly appreciate the cows over the goats

Well your bid would be under the 3 chickens/goats and under the 1.5 cows so it would not be accepted.

Do these mantises happen to be made of solid gold or some other precious metal or do they possess some ability that makes them more valuable than any other mantises? Can you tell me what species of mantises it is? What about its general health? Have you brought any of them to the vet for any checkups or health issues. Also are they male or female? Do you keep the male and females together? Are you aware that sexual cannibalism occurs with them?
