Title: trust
Post by: GotBitCoins on April 15, 2013, 03:58:15 PM
This is a simple question - and a very naive one so please just provide me with a good solid answer and only if you know what you are talking about.

If I pay using bitcoins - what gurantees me that I will get whatever I paid for?

With paypal and with credit-cards things are reversible but with bitcoin I need to trust the seller...

Please advice,

Check this out:  https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Contracts

Basically you can have a third-party or arbiter decide if the exchange was completed.

Trust has to be earned. I'd start by buying .10 BTC, then 1.0 BTC, and then go from there. Make sure you receive what you pay for.
