I tried a lot to make a Ubuntu bootable flash drive for my macbook pro (Lion) in order to have an offline wallet, but it just doesn't work... -Download the Ubuntu.iso and followed these instructions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jtc8fpCt-P0 The USB stick was not recognized... and not bootable. - discovered that unetbootin can create a USB Stick with a mac but it will only boot on a PC. Installation worked perfectly, the last sentence of the installation was : will not boot off a mac :-( Read many discussions but couldn't find any solution. So, Mac users, how do you do? - Is there any software similar to unetbootin for creating a Ubuntu flash Drive bootable on a mac? - Did you use another system as Ubuntu who would allow a bootable flash drive?
