I have been to a lot of different sites that claim to let you buy bitcoin instantly. Yet they seem to want you to get verified by uploading a passport or drivers license.

Which website can I use to buy bitcoin instantly, using a credit/debit card. And not spend time becoming verified.

You can buy it with paypal through localbitcoins.

Local ATMs usually got a limit of anonymity (e.g. up to $15.000 per day or so) after which you have to verify your ID. There are many "radars" of BTC ATMs on the Internet, and I doubt you won't find one near you. What is harder to be found is an ATM that also buys BTC in exchange for fiat.

try localbitcoins.com but good luck finding a seller who accepts trading with someone without ID and without previous trades. Most of them won't accept it fearing you are a scammer. why not letting those websites know your name anyway?

For any amount, you'd have to head over to eBay or similar marketplaces and pay a premium... Some sellers don't check identification unless for new or specific users to avoid risk.

In most cases trading alt-coins for BTC can be done easily as long as you find the right person.

I'm looking to use a visa debit card, but that might be useful in future in case I ever use PayPal.

How can I scam someone? I am under the impression that I give my card details, then my payment is processed and I am given my bitcoin. I don't see how I could rip someone off. Though I am new to all this.



If sites like eBay or Amazon sell bitcoin this might he good if I am desperate for a solution, as I remember before I can checkout as a guest. I don't need to bother creating an account and waiting. Though I might have to pay extra (premium) as you said.

Maybe it's news to you, but credit cards can be and tend to be stolen. There's a whole criminal business dealing in stolen credit cards (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carding_(fraud) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carding_(fraud))). If the real owner of the card complains and is refunded, the merchant who accepted the card is the one who takes the loss. So especially with higher-valued purchases that cannot be easily repossessed, the seller should check the customer's id thoroughly to avoid being defrauded.

Doesn't paypal need a card or an account linked? If you do that it's like showing them your ID.

I think that everywhere where you buy you are not asked to give your id card or id card code or something connected with your private informations.You can deposit with ATM if you have it in your city in your town,also you can exhange paypal money for bitcoin but also you can send from your bank money to one friend online to bank account and  it can give you bitcoin money.

Simple just buy your steam gift card and try to sell them in here, it doesn't fill the ID form. If you wanna try to use the exchange service, you must provide your ID. At least if you're using CC to buy your bitcoin.
Selling your stuff is the best way for this time. With a lot of the demand of giftcard will make you feeling easier to get your bitcoin through them.

I have seen some websites offering to exchange gift cards and steam cards, stuff like that. But what if I buy a steam card, then try to exchange the steam gift card for bitcoin, but am not capable. It means that I would lose the money I paid for my gift card and it would be a waste. I think I am better off going for a direct transaction of visa debit card to bitcoin. Rather than something like visa debit to gift card to bitcoin. Because it is longer and more complex and it could go wrong.

I haven't bought bitcoin using credit or my debit card directly. What I do is I'm using my Paypal and use virwox for buying. They are not going to require you any ID's or other documents that needs to confirm your identity but their fees is going to kill you if you are that type of person that hates to be charged upon transacting.

your only instant and non verified uk option with a card really was circle but they've shut down now. you could try bittylicious.com which has a card option but also requires an account.

Cex.io could be your only option or second one before yobit, but in cex.io there is an easy process of ID verification as they only require you to take a screenshot with your face and the visa card and then when you try to buy for first time you'll need to send a small transaction like $0.5 and they will ask for the number attached to your transaction report in visa card menu to make sure you really own that card.

u should try buying an US gift card and sell it on reddit, but u will lose about 20%  also you can try Virwox with probably the same amount on fees.

In my opinion it is really necessary for them to verify your ID, probably those sites that you have tried before are under the Anti-Money Laundering or they are preventing people to use the money they have from illegal. I think all big exchanges are having the same platform in order to secure and avoid bad reputation to their service .

One of the best ways is to use the marketplace of this forum. Many here discourage this because of the possibility of being scammed from both sides from the seller or buyer. I advice to look for trusted users in the forum and always use escrow. Most of them are free and are willing to help you.

Without verification buying bitcoin is really tedious. It can be made successful with very few trading and exchange websites. Because most of the time on fiat transfer for bitcoin buying the identity gets revealed through the banking account. Buying from a friend/colleague would be the instant and effective answer for OP. But for that we need to identify bitcoin using people well in advance.

kraken has this option up to 10k a month and 2k a day without any id requested, with id you just rise your limit to 250k a month and 10 a day i think, i need to check again

if you are too afraid of verifying your ID on exchanges which are safer than any other options suggested and are out there, then the only choice that you are left with is to exchange cash for bitcoin and do it face to face. that way your identity will be safe and if you find someone trusted you can do it easily.

You can buy bitcoin without verifying via ATM card/debit card/credit card. Here in my country, you can also buy bitcoin directly without using ATM card, because we have one merchant here who accepted bitcoin which is convenient store outlet that affiliated at coins.ph

My advice is better to use services from exchanger that uses the verification id, because if the exchanger using a service like that then they have better user security . So, I think its ok if we get security guarantee.

Why do you want to buy bitcoin without identification verification? are you going to use it into something involved in illegal activities? It is safer to buy bitcoin in different exchanger that has identification verification. be careful on buying bitcoin. because of this post, many people in this forum will offer you to buy on them. some of them might try to scam you!

Bitgift sell Bitcoin gift card wich you can buy without a verification, up to a certain amount. I already used and it's all automatic. Another one is changelly.com i am not sure if they don't ask for a verification. coinmama.com can also be used with a card but need verification. If you can use your bank account you can use Paymium they don't want ID infos up to 2500$. The fraud is big with cards most of them have o use to a risk for their business to accept it

Well here in the Philippines we can buy some bitcoin instantly and we don't need some Identification card,
We just have to use the coins.ph wallet and buy some bitcoin using 7/11 then go and show them the code and pay for it.

You can use either paxful or localbitcoins to buy bitcoin with credit/debit card without getting verified but you may have to pay way higher than market price. Another option for you could be buying some items from amazon for someone else and getting paid in bitcoin, Check Purse.io for this.

I have had this thread opened for nearly three days and it seems nobody has used them as their main exchange or have heard of them before.

"PH"? That means that service is based and offered in the Philippines? What if I am in another country? How can someone buy Bitcoin from them? Do they require their customers to upload their ID and proof of address?

The safest and most accessible for OP would be a Bitcoin ATM. It is fast and anonymous. But I believe you pay for a higher price than what is offered in the exchanges online.

Actually i have also registered on coins.ph few months ago but it looks like they need Philippine citizenship to get verified or to do any sell/buy so this can't be good option for everyone.

I have bought bitcoins on paxful and localbitcoins through paypal and skrill  without having to verify my I'd though rates are very high for that option.
But you can try the currency exchange section which has reputable members who will give you good rates for some bitcoins.

You are not so smart are you? If you buy with your credit card or debit card then the more need for the person to verify his or her identification online, something which the OP is trying to avoid. Before posting anything please try to understand the context of the thread.

There are lots of advantages if you really intend to do bitcoin-stuff of getting verified. That is if you do not intend to do it like a one-night-stand. Credit-card fraud has been there ever since, so better to get yourself verified. But to answer your question, you can buy here on the forum.

What are these "advantages" you speak of? Buying Bitcoin and being verified by ID doesn't do anything in terms of doing "bitcoin-stuff".  What exactly do you mean a "one-night-stand"?

Unfortunatley exchanges are getting more and more invasive with KYC laws and banks are holding exchanges accountable.  I've bought quite a few bitcoins through local bitcoins and have nothing but good experience with them and the people I did business with.  I do, however, recommend that you only use cash deposit rather than something that the payment can be reversed (which ends up with you being scammed) since it's one of the easiest ways to verify that you paid with the site and the person you are buying from.

As far as i am concern, you can purchase BTC from your local community if you want to avoid exposing your personal informations publicly.
 You can also try buying it through PayPal,if you try to buy it online its more risky and just like what the OP says he has to give his driver's license and so on, and those things were your personal information, and what if they will use your personal info to pretend as you and then use it illegally? you will be at risk and in the end you might be put in jail for some reasons.

Its better to protect your anonymity no matter what happens, for your own safety purpose and for you to be secure as always.

I used Paymium.com and you can buy Bitcoins without ID verification, up to 2500 €. The limit include wire transfers to fund your account, the money earned from sales and bids. So for exemple if you fund your account with 1000€ then buy 1000€ of bitcoin, it's already 2000€ so you have 500€ left before you need to send documents for verify your ID. You can make bank transfers but recently they added purchases with Visa/Mastercard, of course fees are different than using bank account

BTC-e codes are an attractive way of purchasing the Bitcoins. They can be purchased here in the marketplace section, or in other markets. I don't think that anyone will ask your ID proof, for purchasing BTC-e codes.

Paxful is always been the way to go. Also localbitcoin.com, there's a couple other websites that are not as trusted. if you're going to do this, depending on your method of payment, then take a look at Paxful and local bitcoins as your number one point of action then go from there.  Do not trust anyone here on the forum and especially if they throw the word escrow around, that means nothing when you cannot trust either of the two people involved.

Now on any normal exchange like livecoin they allow you to deposit funds using third party payment processor like perfect money , adv cash , etc. They do have a limit so follow that daily limit and you'll be fine. Another way would take a bit more fees but still works you should use coinmama i don't know now but few weeks ago i bought just by entering my details and some random passport number. I have heard they did add some selfie verification but I'm not completely sure about this. Or just stick with local bitcoins

Here in the Philippines you can buy bitcoin even from 7eleven, thanks to our local btc wallet coins.ph, though it is a bit more in terms of price compared to usual exchanges.

In the past, buying from Coinbase was a hit or miss IMO. Sometimes they would ask for a valid ID, sometimes it would just slip through. the only other place, besides localbitcoins (which is a hassle, because most sellers want you to be verified anyway), would be the serpicoin exchange (serpicoin.com). They're swiss based and don't require validation by law. based on their website, they've been around long enough.

i think you can buy bitcoin with your friend near in your town or someone you know so you can buy bitcoin without verifying ID and this is the best thing that you can do. since i don't use credit/debit card, because this is too risk for me, i am prefer that way and i think its the most safe you can do to buy bitcoin. you know that person, you know who is he and you don't have to worried for anything.

If you want to skip the whole verification crap, that's the price to pay i guess. At least they state the facts, other exchanges just shaft you on the spread.

IMO, if you want to invest, go through the process of verification and hold your coins. If you want to convert fiat to crypto fast, an exchange like serpicoin is the way to go. (Or localbitcoins, but the prices/spreads are usually insane where I'm from).

It's not just about you ID-paranoid coin buyers but also about the loss-paranoid coin sellers who want to be 100% assured that the payment will not be chargebacked AND that the card is not a hacked or stolen one.

If you can't identify yourselves, buy your bitcoins from an ATM near you or mint them yourselves!

If you are buying a size-able amount of coins with cards, They are right to ask you for your Id's. Assuming nothing untoward is happening, you shouldn't have a problem providing the required documents. It is for the safety of your credit card after-all.

What are you saying 20% it is not the fees , I think they are asking for the partnership with you on your trade with that sort of fees. Go for binance the fees is mere 0.1% and you do not require the KYC to be done for the limited transaction if you have. Also it is considered to be the best exchange nowdays.

The only ways I can think is to offer others following:
1. You can buy something for them if they pay you in bitcoin (no one asks for id here).
2. Find a deal in real life, someone who has no problem can send you bitcoin if you give them a cash.
3. Add your credit card on paypal for example and then ask for exchange.
4. You can buy bitcoins in some countries with ATMs.

If you don't want to verify your ID, it's probably because you don't want your name attached to the transaction... so if you make a transaction through PayPal, well your name will be on that account!

Assuming that exchanges that verfiy your ID share the info with tax agencies (not yet, but inevitably), the only way you can make such a transaction anonymously is in cash. And that's why cash transactions are much more expensive. You can do a local bank transfer on localbitcoins for as low as 2% (I even got -1% once), but cash will be closer to 6%, even 10% depending on where you live. And assuming that someone is there.

maybe you can buy bitcoin with your friend. try to ask your friend, if he has bitcoin or not and if he has bitcoin, then you can try to buy on him. let say, you only have $100, then with using the local market rate, you can ask your friend to send the amount of bitcoin in your wallet then you can give the money to him. I think with doing this, you don't have to send any document or filled anything because you use your friend help so you can get bitcoin in your wallet. this is the easy way for you to buy bitcoin.

Oh yeah and there's also Bisq. It's a nice platform because it connects through the Tor network and will guarantee you an anonymous P2P transaction. The problem is there aren't a lot of people using it so you'll only have 20-30 offers for USD for example. But that's as anonymous as you can get if you want to do it over the internet.

It's extremely easy to track IP addresses, so any transaction through an exchange, even a P2P one like localbitcoins.com, can come back to you. If you want it to be truly anonymous, go find a shop and do it for cash. And please don't drag a friend into it, because if you want to do it anonymously, it must be for a good reason.

Nice example of such platform is buycoinnow.com. You can purchase BTC there by credit card without registration and sharing you personal data. It is good for the beginning because if you are a trader you will have to transfer these coins to some crypto exchange over time
