I'm using an external hard drive to store bitcoin on. However, on C drive the Bitcoin folder still takes up 17.1 gigabytes in the C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming folder. Also, the Armory folder in C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming takes up 896 megabytes. All the other folders in C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Roaming only take up 171 megabytes. I'm using an SSD for my main drive and only have 9 gbyte free on the C partition of 82 gigabytes. Any thoughts? Title: Re: Why is Appdata\Roaming\Armory so big? Older versions of Armory used to replicate the entire blockchain, so that would be another 100 GB. Comparatively, 896 MB is small, and in fact, is too small for Armory. Armory typically takes up around 2 GB for its databases. That it is that large is not abnormal, there is simply a lot of data to deal with.
