Title: What is the business logic of bot software?
Post by: Deep BTC on February 02, 2017, 12:10:53 PM
In general, no one recommends the use of bot software.

What is the logic of the running bot software? Can we add our own trading algorithms to these software?

the logic of running bot software is the bot helped us to do trading in a day without we login in the market. we set up everything and let the bot running and do trading for us meanwhile we can use our time to do other work. i think if you need the bot because you daily life is really busy, then you can use the bot but you need to learning about how to control the bot.

i think we can not add our own trading algorithms but its depend from the dev, if the dev allow to us to add our algorithms then it would be fine for us and we can make modify the bot that will suit for us to do trading. but i think there is not much to find the dev that will allow us to modify the bot.

I agree on what have ipanks said above that bots are just useful only on making automated trades but we cant really able to modified it on our own algorithms but only to the dev itself but there are bots would really able to be set-up according to your trading style but i think it would be really limited though.

people don't recommend trading bots because it is usually a newbie who has no idea what trading is. someone who has never even visited an exchange service before in his life. and now thinks he can install a bot, click a button and make money.

and what you ask, is depending on what kind of bot you are using. they can have option to let you add and customize algorithms

It's not really that hard to understand , the bot simply makes thing automatic without the need of you doing anything. If you don't know anything about trading or how It works then It's not a good idea to buy one or use it.
Algorithms are actually made by the creator of the software and paid bots logically have closed source codes so without the source code Its impossible to add anything .

Correct, buying the bot without proper knowledge on how to use it is really useless at all and you are just wasting on your money and you are right bots are made just to make your trade excecutions would be already automatic without the need of your presence thats why you should know how to use it,

well, yeah but it is not all bots do.
one of the most important things a bot is supposed to do is analysis, although when we are talking about a trading bot there are lots of them and each of them are different, with different features. but they are supposed to have these things. for example you give it the charts and it draws the line and helps you in the analysis.

Adding and modify the algorithm for bot is far better than just use bot not modify. Basically the bot is doing a conditions, choose an option which have been wrote and do looping (it's depends on how your algorithm works). So if the conditions is not follow the trends it's just makes you lose. Bot help you doing a trading more efficient and easier.
As far as I know you can write your own algorithm, it's used programming language of course but you can learn it. Use meta trader software.
