Title: Is there a way to backup to a different pool site on guiMiner
Post by: techman05 on April 16, 2013, 01:50:47 AM
I'm using eclipse consortium since it seemed the easiest to setup or at least more tolerant with my config file (i found just recently from another post that I probably messed it up with updating username and pass and needed to clear it)

eclipse got to a point it didn't have a work hash and guiMiner kept reminding me nothing was being worked on. I want to use another and for a time shut eclipse off.

Any ideas,
  Thanks

Yeah I tried that but it told me my setup was wrong for a backup. I think I might be under the presumption that a backup pool has to be from the same site but that's not what I'm looking for and its not really specified there.

gui miner asked me to fill it out like "username":password@website:"port number" and when I did I still got a response saying it wasn't right.
