first of all 4 out of this many is a lot. you should have made it 1 vote only.

secondly you are not saying what you mean by "best".
if it is best features then what is 2017 in here, none of them are the best in features. litecoin is about to add segwit which can make it better. also there is always monero which is offering anon transactions.

if it is price and profitability, then they can all be profitable because all the altcoins will get pumped one way or another.

or did you have some other meaning in your mind?!

Why you took off from the accounts of a ETC coin? She has a strong community, a large team of professional developers, and the main thing - is chinese money.

it is too early to vote for 2017 best alt coin, this is just the beginning of February, any new alt coin can appear and can become the best, for now I still choose Monero because of the rising in 2016 and seems like it is going to be another great year for Monero, hopefully Monero can make me earn profit again this year

if I had to choose for coins, I would rather choose the wings coin, this coin would seem to be good, and I'm sure the new coins will be higher price if he has entered the market and prices could survive long enough in the future. ;)

And everyone shouts about his, of course "the best" coin  ;D More than a half of altcoins in this list is just a scamshit, with only goal to steal money from hamsters and some other people.

i like zcash but i don't own any so it's not because i don't to be a baghold, i also never heard of golem it seems a layer for the etheruem platform not a real coin, but perhaps i'm wrong, monero would be the king for me if it was not for the stupid name

Really, it's only February. Many old good coins are missing from your list. Many coins still to be launched.
Then some coins (even from the list) may be declared scam or just die.
The market tells what are the best coins "now". For more comprehensive poll for 2017 you should wait longer...

the only thing that can ever make an altcoin best for me as a trader (and I can say for majority of people) is the price of that altcoin and how it goes up and the fact that you can catch it before the pump or not.

other than that there is nothing more to altcoins to use or invest in. just finding an altcoin pre-pump makes that coin good to me. and most coins in this list have that option.

This is very difficult, every day we can find another winner, if we picking one on exchanges. Else LTC for example is here with us so long and i believe is most trustworthy, if you compare it to new coins.
For a long run LTC, all others are there for making more BTCs to its creators and "funding fathers"

I think atm. the best altcoin is PureVidz.

The dev team behind is huge and the community is growing everyday.

It is the first decentralized streaming plattform that using crypto.
The quality of the videos is very good and if the beta is finished there will be more languages.

I feel burst is one the best coins.

It is very good for energy efficiency. It has smart contracts. As well any one can get a bit by mining off spare hdd space..

I would say the asset are a great addition to burst. As Well It Has one the best community around for any coin I know.

the best altcoin is ETH(the real ethereum)
because the best volume transaction, and the best user community
and support token technology, so many people can dev coin use ethereum technology, so ethereum user always wroth too

This poll is not full because you have trump, nav and expanse? No stratis and decred, sdc? No waves or doge? Add them and I will vote.

I will go for ETH, this coin has many affiliated coins in different exchange sites. through that matter it is obviously is one of the best among the top of the altcoins in crypto currency. Aside from that icobid, nem, steem and ltc are also bast legit altcoins for me in  this industry.

i can't really choose anyone because your POLL doesn't have time factor in it. it closes in 4 days but you didn't mention if you mean best right now or in general.
because if you are looking for best crypto then i will only choose bitcoin among all of them.
but in short term i say litecoin and ethereum are best right now. and then monero can be good but its time seems to be over for now so maybe in the future.

for me the best is still litecoin, its market is always crowded

Stratis should be on the best altcoin list for voting.  Stratis has a solid development team and is doing great after being launched.  It is one of only eight crytpocurrencies to be supported by Ledger Wallet.  

You don't specify what do you mean by best or the criteria, if you are looking for anonymity then there is no doubt that the best choice is monero.

Every coin can be anon if you use mixer services and exchanges, you easily can mix all your coins and then return in original at some point. So anon coins are not exclusively best solutions for hiding tracks..

Hmm. How it working? If you can, explain please this monet. And why coins with mixer better then initially anon coins? You must understand, that when you usying mixers you trust them about your private information and your funds. Trust to third face it's not a good business in my opinion.

No i don't say that are not needed just my assumption that even bitcoin can be anonymous if it is mixed.Yes this way you must trust third parties, but still this is possible, and it fact. Send bitcoins to excange sell it for alts redeem in another account for 0 fee then sell alts for btcs..

Yeah, but your way with mixers and exchangers is more difficult, dangerous (i mean using mixers) and demand more time to make it. With coin like Monero you just buy it, and after that buy something what you need. (more comfortable).
But in anonime coins you must for sure know that that coin are real anonime (what we can't say about DASH, as an example)

There was no Komodo wow Komodo or Iota so I picked the obvious choice Trumpcoin :)

Why MAID is not in the poll list? It is doing great and I think this year could be very successful for MaidSafe team and investors. Anyway, it is only February, BTC price is on bull trend and most of the altcoins depending on BTC moves. It is very difficult to predict altcoin markets for 2017. But I have a few picks considering market cap and current price - Stratis and Maid.  

One wrong move for one altcoin that is on the top and it will all be erased. Too early to make predictions and the year have just started. I would love to vote but there are more alts that are coming out and we dont know if someday they will be the on the top which will not make it to your list. Will this thread be alive until the end of the year?  ;D

Why it has a lot of potential? We have a huge concentration of anonymous coins considering the demand. I think that 2017 is not very good for anonymous coins to grow significantly. Monero have done its run already and I do not expect huge surge in price.

I was in Komodo signature campaign, and I would also vote for komodo. I voted for lisk, recently I saw some good news about this coin and I think lisk can cost more in the future. Trumpcoin is something new for me, I will think about buying some trumpcoins.

obviously coins such as ETH, ETC, Dash and Monero are always in the list, they are big and seems like they will stay big specially monero and it measn they are good.

but for this year. specially in the following months i consider litecoin to become the best altcoin among all of them. because it has always been full of surprises in its price movement and also this time we are seeing the activation of Segregated Witness in litecoin and it is  a huge news.

The very notion of leaving BAY off of this list is ludicrous. In fact the very notion of allowing other options aside from BAY is almost as crazy.

However i suspect with the adoption of segwit there will be some room for best (profit) from LTC.

I've seen that Komodo is already available in some exchanges and is also visible in coinmarketcap. Is the currency above the ICO price?
And with regard to trumpcoin, why would you consider investing in it?

Ico was about 0.00012 compared to 0.00017709 now.

At one point you must buy alts on that same exchange if you want to posses, or maybe you can buy it here from members with higher trust. But still everything of this is very risky. In this case best is to be a miner, and how meny time i mined crapy coins and now i cannot rid of them.

From the list above I think that Iconomi has the potential to be the best altcoin for this year and maybe for next years if the development trend in their team will continue with the actual power.

But in the list I would add also Tokes (as known as Chronobank) and I think this is the next Iconomi.
