When did you start gambling online (and offline if you do not mind sharing)? Is it because of the awesome Games and Rounds forum at Bitcointalk?

Do you only start gambling after you use Bitcoin (or any other cryptocurrency) because you feel that you cannot be tracked?

I've been a gambler a long time before bitcoin. I do gamble with small amounts in bitcoin that I make from signature campaign's but I was gambling with fiat a long time ago & I still do in regular fiat bookies.

I'm not bothered about being anonymous re: gambling.

before joining bitcoin I was aware with gambling sites but I did not gambled because of the identity reason but after coming to this forum I found that now we can also gamble anonymously and no need to provide any bank card of me so I started to gamble here for getting some fun in the day or in th a week.

I have been in a gambling world prior when I know the idea of a cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. Most of the time, Im doing gambling at physical places and not on online since I found it really hassle to do betting at online and I don't know how to do that since it involves fiat.

My gambling experienced just enhanced when bitcoin came to my world since no doubt that placing bet using bitcoin or any crypto is just one click way. Well thanks for the gambling site that uses bitcoin as mode of currency.

i am start playing gambling is by online and i don't playing gambling in offline because it is prohibited in my country especially in my city. i am playing gambling after i getting involve in bitcoin industry and the first time i am playing is in october 2015 until now. i don't think it is because of Games and Rounds in this forum but it is more like i am curious about the games and i decide too trying to playing gambling.

Well I do gamble before I even used bitcoin I used to gamble my money with my classmate and friends when I was on high school,
It was easy money everyday because of it we always manage to win most of our games.

I did gambling before I knew Bitcointalk. First site was Freebitco.in because in here I knew about bitcoin and played Dice for the first time in Freebitco.in. Fortunately, after joined into Bitcointalk I get useful information about Bitcoin and the industries.

I was a semi-professional offline and online poker player long before Bitcoin appeared. However it was always a hurdle to bring fiat money to my online poker account. There I started with Bitcoin when I heard first time. It is so easy to deposit and withdraw Bitcoins to online casinos. Rounds and play section did not play a role on my dicision at all.

I started with horse racing. In those days there were very good horses. Velociraptor, Traper, Odin, Bold Pilot now those horses sons/girls racing. 15-16 years ago i belive. I missed those days. Break the school and run away to hippodrome bet the horses. Man u took me those days.

I start gambling when i knew about bitcoin and never try before. Gambling is illegal activity in my country, and bitcoin us anonymous thats why im gambling with bitcoin. First i knew is dice game with bitcoin and im happy with that, then i find alot of casino site here,

It is funny how you mentioned Games and Rounds sub-section. I never had much luck leeching giveaways from that section, so after initial spike of interest I gave up.

So no, G&R section was definitely not the reason. I remember that I got fascinated by Slots machines when I was a kid, the lights, the sounds and interactions with one-armed bandits seemed so cool back then.

Like You, I have been gambling for over 5 years and I Learnt about Bitcoin just last year except for the fact that I'm not a Poker Player but a Skilled Sport Betting gambler. Whilst gambling is illegal in some parts of the world, It is legal in my country as far as I can tell. I just switched to Bitcoin Casino gambling because It's easy and fun to gamble while maintaining my Privacy.

I don't know when i started but i only remember that i start playing gambling games when i was in high school and college but more often it is only betting between my friends offline then when bct comes to my world so it is a yes that games and rounds make me more open about gambling games and sites when i am a begginer i used to read and read of the topics and comments on it.

Bitcoin was the reason that I started gambling, it completely removed the ID checks and everything else that I had to do when I wanted to gamble with fiat currency and made it much easier.

Though it is a bit riskier, as every so often you learn about a bitcoin casino just saying "we're hacked, the bankroll is gone" but I guess that stuff happens less and less often.

I think I started gambling when I was around 16 years old, buying scratch tickets in the local newspaper shops.

Anonymity is not a big thing to me. I just start gambling in bitcoin because I just think that it can be a good way to have some decent winnings but I failed.

I did start gambling when I was 10 years old and I was influence my relatives who are truly addicted gamblers and my specialization is with poker. I did gamble long time ago before bitcoin came. I use fiat at that time. But since bitcoin gives me a bunch of opportunities I use bitcoin instead of fiat.

Before, I already do some betting in real life but I didn't experience it that often, but in online gambling, that's true because of the promotion of gambling sites here, it's the first time that I experience betting almost half day of my life before just betting.

i have started gambling with bitcoin and started it online but not because of games and rounds board! those giveaways are mostly small as small as faucets.

but promotions are sometimes big and it has been one of the causes for my gambling habits. i wouldn't have made any bets in most of the sites if it weren't for their promotional giveaways.

Yes , I started gambling because of BCT and Bitcoins but I was always interested in sports betting as I am data analyst and I use my own knowledge to bet ( + I follow all sports ) . I am happy now actually to be gambling as it adds more excitement in sports .

 Me too my favourite gambling games is sports betting it have a big chance to win than the dice game.In sports betting you can analyze teams or individuals by their statistics if they win or not.

Actually I started gambling offline when I was a junior high school, at that time I did sports betting with my friend. And I had to stop gambling a few years (3-4 years). Then I gamble again when know there online gambling with bitcoin and I could try various games. I feel safe because my identity is safe, because in my country banned gambling.

In the past used to take part in offline gambling along with friends as the bet amount seems to be high. After being a part of bitcoin and other digital currency started online gambling in which even a small amount can be used.

I will say the promotions on bitcointalk to a large extent influence my online gambling in short I know no other online gambling site without its source from bitcointalk. Although, I was exposed to offline gambling but later had to drop it due to the position that occupies in the society but now I can do it conveniently at my pleasure and thanks to bitcointalk for that feat achieved.

When compared to online betting, offline betting are little expensive because many big bank roll will be playing in offline gambling, where as in online only few people with small amount. But it is really good if we play with small amount of bitcoin in gambling.

I did know about gambling in the real world, in my country is prohibited and if discovered I could go to jail. but gamble with bitcoin it very safe, anonymous and easy to do. Therefore I dare to gamble with bitcoin and it's been almost 3 years

you could go to jail if you play real gambling because most people perceive gambling is bad, and if you stay in place illegal gambling, so when people see you gamble, they will report you to the police. But online gambling is more secure, they will not know you gamble if you do not tell them. But the sensation that you get will not be as fun as real gambling.

I was a casual sports better and used to wage every now and then even before knowing about the possibilities of bitcoin gambling and the ease of moving funds and once i found bitcoin i started out and was a regular in some sites but now i have my budgets every month and i rarely use the promotions given by the sites .

I like your idea OP its seems that you as well only knew or only start to play gambling after you learned about btc, with anonymous and easy access you can play just in front of your laptop or pc inside your house so no need to dwell with many crowds, as for me i started to play serious gambling after i discover this forum with those good tipster and with easy access to bitcoin casino i enjoy even its much more loses than winning with sports games and dice.

You are different from me. I gamble before I know this forum and I even gamble with Bitcoin before I have an account here. I have been into gambling since I was 16 and I love it. However, I know how to control my temper and I never lose a lot of money in gambling. Bitcoin has helped me in finding an easy way to access the casino by the internet..

No. I started gambling because of a friend, he invited me to come play at the site and I gambled online for the first time using bitcoin.

Not because of that, to me it's just much easier to bet with bitcoins than with fiat. My transactions can still be tracked with bitcoin when I use the same bitcoin address over and over again.

I already gambled online without BTC, but then I really start enjoying the options offered by crypto currencies. It's not because it cant be tracked, it's just because it's so simple and easy to do, and with decent gambling options. No need to register, and verify accounts, etc etc. You can just choose a gambling option you like, in my case poker and sports betting, and then you can bet and get your profits almost instantly.

i think it is mainly because when i started using bitcoin, i checked it out and read a lot and in the early days i figured out that bitcoin is not really anonymous. at least not as anonymous as many people think and tell others.

Yes I started in gambling because of a promotion of a casino site on this forum , I when saw a number of casino site on service section promoting it then for joining them I started to join them to learn about them. It was only because I wanted to learn about those companies which I was going to promote as I often start to learn about those products with which I do work.

so you do not have any of your own interest and start gambling just for promoting a casino. i think they they must have some dealing with you with. otherwise no one will like to play gambling only for the purpose to promote a casino or any gambling site.

My beginning of gamble is because my friend give me a link to sports betting (use fiat) and I found it's interesting, then I know bitcoin and gambling site pop-up offer some games include sports betting, until now I gamble use cryptocurrency only, it's not traceable by my family and the transaction is easier.

Last year I was involve in gambling activities because of some promotions but I look long break to give up. Gambling is hurting me so bad that is why I am not so active on online casinos.

When I was still young, I'm curious how gambling works but just hadn't got the opportunity to do it yet especially at that time I was still young. Now that I have gotten older and really understand how gambling works, I started to understand how you could win in it. And also when I've learned Bitcoin, it made it a lot easier to gamble.

Honestly, I started gambling online because of this forum, I play for free and for giveaways. I don't have to worry about because no money would lose from me, I just enjoyed the playing. But I already play gamble games offline even I am not yet into bitcoin.

No, I have gambled the most on live casinos than in bitcoin casinos, I play occasionally in bitcoin casinos but not much since I don’t like games like dice, I prefer to play poker and poker is a game that is better played when you play it in front of other people face to face.

Well, I have no problem to tell that i am playing online gambling only for bitcoin wise. May be you feel surprise to know, before bitcoins i didn't play gambling online and offline, even i didn't know how to play it. But when i know about bitcoin than my friends play online gambling and use bitcoin and also earn from it. Than i was try to earning wise, and it gave me good result, But the reason is why i came on online gambling? So only for Bitcoin.

Exactly, when i started bitcoin than i saw a add of online gambling site, than i joined and start to play, But i came here behalf of bitcoin and it is true, i trust on bitcoin and that's why i trust on all gambling sites. Well I started gambling when I was about in grade 4 or something,
We played some card game then 1 of my friends suddenly decides to play it with money,
And that was my very first time playing gambling.

Wow, that was too early, I think you are influence enough by your elders that's why you end up loving gambling. Like you I knew gambling at an early stage and I really enjoyed doing it but now I realized if only I could turn back time, I would have not done it because it's very risky at our age.
Now that I have kids, I made sure that they will not learn how to gamble early, gambling is only for matured who has the capacity to think what is right.

Free will always give us more enjoyment when compared to investments. We have to feel when we lost money in gambling because we are living in crises world, money is the main important factor to me. So I gamble with free money only for enjoyment.

FIAT gambling was always to much hassle for me. I always wanted to bet online but the KYC requirements of standard casinos/sportbooks were insane.
I never w anted to share my ID and personal information and link my gambling account with my bank account - it never ends up well.

I think in around 2012 i started to gamble, prior to that i didn't even know what gambling was lol. satoshidice is where i made my first bet, i had a balance of ~0.08 btc which i lost it to satoshidice.

I started gambling online a long time ago....Well before the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (UIGEA).  In 2011 the US finally started enforcing the act and it became more difficult to fund our gambling accounts from US based banking institutions....That's when I started searching for alternative banking solutions.  Needless to say, I found bitcoin....and have been here every since.

I start gambling since i was kid, I play gambling with my friends, but since we are just kids, The amount of money that we are betting is just a small amount or even a penny, But I stop it when i was on college because I focus on my study and career, But now after i successfully finish my studies and become a Professional, I started playing again gambling when i discover Bitcoin. Exceptional. You still can survive for 10 years in gambling ..?? , this is something that gives some the impression that pretty much in gambling. It is indeed a pretty lucrative gambling and provide the best thing is to do sports gambling, because by simply doing an approximate score or guess who wins can give you a great advantage. But all gambling should have good self control and not greedy in thinking about an advantage
 

10 years is already quiet a long engagement with gambling and its unbelievable for someone did survive been this for so long since he mentioned he doesn't much luck on playing such games and I think hes a rich person I guess because if a person doesn't have capability in means of money he cant sustain for too long.Its amazing though to hear that someone playing gambling for 10 years and counting.

I did start during my early years gambling against my friends.  We often bet on which team will win if ever our favorite team is competing.  Online gambling is when I got a hold of Bitcoin since it is easier to deposit and move fund to the casino that accept BTC.  That probably encourage me to play gambling online since I am still anonymous while enjoying the game at the online Casino.

I start gambling when i find out about bitcoin. That time i don't know about this forum yet so i think my only choice to earn bitcoin is through gambling. I started with some small amounts and doubled it for many times but i always get greedy that time so i never succeed. I just find out bct last year where you can earn without having any investments. You only need to put some effort in joining signature campaigns.

Sometimes the offline gambling with friends is more fun than gambling Online. Gambling online is limited by distance, mean distance play that far apart that we can not interact directly, directly point is to talk directly and not in writing. Whatever happens, we can feel it directly.

There's no connection to bitcointalk on how and when I did start to gamble online/offline. I started to gamble when I was still at high school and that is with my peers when they ask me to play some good sports betting. And I just discovered out that there are online gambling way back 2013, it was introduced to me by peers again.

I started gambling way before I even knew about bitcoins, so I would say that bitcointalk was not the reason why I got into gambling. I started with NBA odds with a local bookie. When I grew tired of the odds he was giving and how much cut he gets, I got into online sports betting at nitrogen sports. Never went back to my local bookie again.

I too did hidden gambling in my place before entering to this Bitcoin world. And before I am not played much gambling. Just for fun, i did sports betting with my friends. But now I stopped that type of play, and I started to play in online casinos with this Bitcoin. This coin really helps me to play online gambling without any condition, and it is easy to play with Bitcoin.

And I finally found out that gambling is really addicting and I was able to know gambling not here in the forum but way back when I was in high school. I have classmates who are gambling with their money all the time even at classroom.

If it is not the case of online gambling nor visiting physical gambling then probably I also had gamble in the age of 11 or 12 itself because we did play some street games with stones for money betting and also I remember I have played card games with my father for money at those ages.

But honestly after getting into job and becoming a earning person, I turned into gambling just because of getting introduced to bitcoins. I'm not blaming bitcoin here but I am really enjoying it. When I am not making any big losses with my bitcoin gambling why should I regret nor blame.

i think you need to be careful when you want to playing gambling because you have experience in win and loss so in next time when you gambling, make sure that you have a limit in amount and you don't need to spend more money. congrats for you for your experience, i hope you can learn from this so in future, you can avoid greediness that could make you loss all of your money. its okay for trying playing gambling because of curiosity but the decision is always come back to you, do you want to continue playing gambling or not.

Not really , i've started playing gambling when i was about 14 years old betting on something to earn money some kind of poor gambling games that exist in public in that time in my country .I play and sometimes play chess or a board game then have a bet within a match up. I have been gambling since a few years myself and the main reason behind cryptocurrency gambling was because the sites like bet365 and others ask ID proofs which giving directly means the involvement of government on all the winnings and surprisingly they don't compensate on the loss I give.
They simply want a part of what I won, but never be ahead to compensate the loss, huh so I love crypto gambling.

I gambled offline before i knew bitcoin and this forum, i usually did that with my friends at local casino, playing roulette and slots, it wasn't that fun as bitcoins gambling online though. Atmosphere there is very sad and boring, everyone gambling for money and not for fun, that why i like online bitcoin gambling more now, because i can do that alone at home and it's more fun this way.

I have started to gamble online together with the time when I opened bitcoin to myself. That was like two years ago and I was searching for a saurce of some extra money. I found bitcoin and began to make some coins on faucets, Aliens and ect. But it didn't bring me some seriouse profit. Then I opened for myself online gambling for bitcoins and I began to play poker on Betcoin.ag. I count myself good in this game and two years ago there were not so many people in that as today. I gamble already before I even knew bitcoin. I learned playing poker with the old people here in our town and my father was one of the players. The reason is very strong why you can't stop your gambling because you will get extra money every month, so you use that money in gambling. Good, then there is no issue with your gambling because you are not wasting your personal money you are playing with extra money. And suppose if that extra money gives you any profit it is one more advantage> I think now if you try any method you will not stop your gambling am I right.

I do not know why people keep recommending faucets and why they keep using faucets themselves, faucets were a way to learn how to use the bitcoin technology, now you can learn by viewing a single video on youtube, faucets seems, at least to me, to be on their way to eventually disappear.

I don't believe that you could not stop it, you have to strive harder in order to prove to yourself that you can do it. You are not aware om what are the real purpose and used of faucet. Faucets not just created to learn bitcoin but to mine bitcoin in a simplest way.
