As for a group buy


A group buy of the panda miner is an issue :

It is just under 2500   at 2180 with no psu. + 100 shipping to usa. you are at 2280

so for me to get these Say 10 for 20,000 = I have no idea what the discount is for 10


 I need to pay taxes import yada yada yada. so 3% is 600 so that would be 20,600 broker fees  I am at 20,900
The shipping in the USA it is big say 25-50  and the price would be maybe 2150  and tons of work and possible legal issues of importing a lot of stuff from China with our new administration in WASH DC

I just do not see that happening.

so BUYING IT DIRECT FROM CHINA IS THE WAY TO GO.

I asked them about discount and for 10 is no discount and for 50 very small.
This is their reply:
"If you order over 50 units, we can give you a discount for each miner with $ 30.
But if less than 50 units, no discount. "

Slightly Off topic, but why do you guys prefer (why did you get) pandaminers over just building your own rig? I may consider getting a pandaminer but one of my main concerns is seemingly lack of resale value

I didn't realized there is a special rig named Pandaminer (www.pandaminer.com).
I thought Pandaminer OS is a special purpose linux distro for mining. Is Pandaminer OS work only for Pandaminer rig or it can installed in any intel based PC? I dont have Pandaminer rig yet. There is no pandaminer rig seller in my country.

I don't have my panda miners in hand at this time.

I ask because I am not sure if they  have many left.  I hate to sell software to people that don't have the gear.  Then they find out they can not get the gear.

Pandas are sold out.  They said about a month for batch 2

I GOT A PM today telling me the same thing gear is sold out have to wait til late march to buy one.

I just got a PandaMiner (batch 4) that I ordered at the end of April, so it took 8 weeks.  Are there any slots left for this Eliovp's pandaminer os + rom?

I am getting 25.xx MH/sec on each GPU.  About 200 MH/sec with all eight.  Is Eliovp's ROM faster than this?  Power is 1200 watts from the wall running 240V on the included Pandaminer PSU.
