Title: Looking for intermediate stop between $ and blockchain
Post by: homedog on February 07, 2017, 12:41:46 AM
I had circle which worked great.  Easy to move money from my bank account to circle and then send to bitcoin address at blockchain.  Now with them gone I can't find a good alternative.

Coinbase asks for your bank account secure log in info.  Not happening.  They charge high fees for debit card deposit.

Would appreciate any recommendations.  Thanks.

Coinbase is having some legal issues with the IRS lately so not using them was a good decision . You didn't mention your country so Its kinda hard to suggest any service but there is a list  (https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/buy-bitcoin-bank-transfer-account/)already that should help you make up your mind , most of them will ask you for your ID verification at least though.

You can try kraken or bitstamp but you may have to wait for few days to get your bank deposits. There is also cex.io but i haven't tried them. They also seem to provide instant buy and sell.
