Zero reputation, yet you ask someone to trust you with more than 1 BTC? You've got to be kidding me.

Yea man, trust just like irl is earned with time and actions.  This one might be too big to chew for a first go around.

Haha, exactly. What do you think I'm trying to accomplish by asking for the business? Earning trust through time and actions!!

Getting ostracized in this community (should I violate someone's trust) means much more than whatever the transaction cost is. You guys can talk shit just because I'm new to escrow, but that doesn't mean I can't be trusted. Trust ratings on this forum can be forged so easily.

I'll keep offering to help out, to earn trust here. If you're going to try to insult me for offering, please keep it to yourself.

The discussion is only between me and the winning bidder. And to that person - I appreciate your consideration!

EDIT:
^^Thanks for the offer but I have been using OgNasty for years and am not looking to change.

Just saw this. Thanks, Lesbian Cow. Good luck with the sale!

You got it all wrong, you don't earn trust by doing escrow.
You do escrow because you are trusted.

Please don't take this personal, but over the years has countless users tried the same approach as yours - and they all failed,
in the best cases did nobody get scammed.

If you really want people to take you serious as an escrow, then would I advice you to take away your signature banner and instead use the space to link to your escrow-thread, where you clearly write everything with fine print; how much you can cover is funds are lost in a escrow transaction, what type of trades you can handle, how you handle disputes, how you store the bitcoins, how you formulate the escrow contract, info about your PGP key, bitcoin address etc.

Not to prolong the conversation but i was giving a mere recomendation.  If you really want to get involved in escrow why dont you do some business around here first.  Going after $1400 worth of btc for a "test run" is a little ambitious.  Would you hand over 14 $100 bills to a complete stranger, unlikely.  Dont know if you've seen this place lately....again as stated before you cant just pop up and say hey trust me, cmon i promise its all good.  Just a pointer, and bg4's comment is spot on, you have to think that way otherwise you're just a fool with money.  You know the rest of the saying.

Congrats on the sale lesbiancow
