Title: Mining advice Post by: momrha on February 08, 2017, 08:28:26 PM I have three old Butterfly labs miners (2x150Ghash and a 7.5g/hash) what can I do with these now?
No point starting up Bitcoin mining with these so is there anything I can mine? Sorry if this is not where I should put this question! Title: Re: Mining advice Post by: fanatic26 on February 08, 2017, 11:18:46 PM the AS in ASIC means Application Specific so they will only be able to mine SHA-256 cryptocurrencies, you cannot repurpose them for anything else. Also with the age of the machine you will not be able to find anything profitable to mine with them as they burn way more power than current miners.
