I know them , there is actually two services that I use for reading news about bitcoin most of the time and they are coindesk and cointelegraph . I however must warn you because they have some accusations against them , the services promoted or advertised there shouldn't be used blatantly so make sure to do your research first.

I have read and followed their news for over 1 year ago. I like their headline image which combined awesome art with related to the news itself and bitcoin/cryptocurrency elements.

Unfortunately, cointelegraph advertise a site which possibly(or even) scam, could be they not filtering the company who wants to place their ads on the website. Just be careful and research more with such service(showed on the ads banner or ect).

I have heard about this information too and I do not really like how they work and how they can accept Ponzi websites around. We know that most of us need money, but it is not right to running a banner or a logo which related to scammers just because they promise to pay you a little bit higher. Therefore, I do not like cointelegraph at all, I think coindesk is still the best

I was talking about the quality of the website mostly , If you are speaking about the traffic then yes they do have a decent one and they are one of the most visited bitcoin news sites and you could confirm by looking the number of views in their articles where they usually hit +10k .

Someone already posted this Alexa rating link  (http://www.alexa.com/topsites/category/Top/Science/Social_Sciences/Economics/Financial_Economics/Currency_and_Money/Alternative_Monetary_Systems/Cryptocurrencies/Bitcoin) where you can find top bitcoin-crypto related website. it may be easier for you to decide where you're gonna endorse

If you think about clean and independent reporting, someone has already said, you should be careful. it is always best to investigate the opinions and experiences of bitcointalk community

Sometimes I see news on this website, and certainly many users in the cryptocurrency space know and access the media. They have good articles sometimes, but they are not always accurate, and there have been times when they have presented stories that proved to be misleading afterwards, such as an article about Monero and the problem the coin users faced with a darknet market, last year.

The reason against this media because they're advertising the stupid scam promotion in their site. It looks like very disclose how its credibility. at least they have an high traffic.

The sites have high traffic and attracts many shady services to place ads there. The media sites are pursuing the ads revenue and don't always do the diligent research to them.  As a reader, we should note this facts.

ignoring the misleading articles from scams, they are very great on their own art, and the review.
i don't know what exactly happened on cointelegraph so far as not been tracking on.

first of all there is no such thing as "black"chain. it is blockchain.
and what i think of that news media is that they are mostly posting click bait articles not valid news segments that are worth reading. it may not be the worst news site out there about bitcoin but it is one of the bad ones.

for advertising, sure. they have a high crypto related traffic so it is a viable option.

I am following few crypto news sites regularly and I have activated their pop up alert options on my chrome browser. But when I do see any sudden fluctuation only where I do check for latest update is google search and almost every crypto site covers almost all prime events so just following one or two will be enough imho.

Yes, their art is very good and always bring more attention to their articles. I like to access cointelegraph to see what is happening and to see come curiosities. Times ago they did a nice promotion/offer which you could use referral links to their articles, so who clicked on it gave you a comission, but it didn't last for much time, looks it wasn't good for cointelegraph.

Cointelegraph.com is a good source of bitcoin news I'm also a
subscribing on this website. Although this site has a high
Alexa rating, this site uses an anonymous services, which
a lot of scam website owners are using as well to hide their true identity.
If you really want to advertise in this website, just go in
their about page and contact their advertising team.
Another thing I like in to check in this website is that their have a scam/fraud review

There are many other similar news outlet like news.bitcoin.com , coindesk.com, newsbtc.com etc and i personally like the way cointelegraph use animated pictures in their articles. They may also do some paid review or press release, you can contact them to add review or advertise your bitcoin related project.

you should ask them about these questions. most of the places that are accepting advertisement like banners,... will give you some kind of statistics which will include the views their banners get per day during month and the times of them and also the number of clicks each of these banners get.

and the only person who can give these information to you is the owner of that site.

I know cointelegraph. it is one of the most famous bitcoin and crypto news site, if you are asking because you want to post a news about your project than you have to go with the press release section and contact them.

Yes, cointelegraph.com is one of the leading news site for bitcoins and altcoins. HOWEVER, take everything they say with a pinch of salt. They are prepared to do anything for money. In the past, they have promoted blatant scams in "press releases" in order to receive money from scammers. There is no point trading based entirely on news  (unless major), since the people who knew it beforehand have probably already taken advantage of the price.

There have been major accusations against cointelegraph for sponsored articles.
This article kinds of sums it up.

Nowadays, they clearly label articles which are paid for as press releases. They charge a bomb for these too.

their charge incredible fee but they didn't review if the article they are posting is legit or just hoax, there some news on their site that is allegedly misleading and made controversy. I preferred coindesk rather than cointelegraph, But if the sole purpose of OP is just to advertise, Then go to cointelegraph because they have many reader
