Title: just installed a clean Linux, need help (1 TBC bounty ) Post by: xioros on June 16, 2011, 12:35:42 PM Hi,
I just did a clean linux install. I'm new to linux. I need a full script for the terminal for: Driver and SKD install install POCLBM hashkill full install I'm running 4 x 5870 I also need overclocking software First working script poster ( including oc software) gets a Bitcoin ( 20$ ) http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=17836.0 Grtz Title: Re: just installed a clean Linux, need help (1 TBC bounty ) Post by: organofcorti on June 19, 2011, 02:16:36 AM you want a script or just a list of cli instructions?
if a script, why would you want to automate the install unless you have lots of rigs? in which case as a linux newcomer, you're going to have your hands full! Title: Re: just installed a clean Linux, need help (1 TBC bounty ) Post by: Sukrim on June 19, 2011, 09:38:31 AM Could be done in a few lines on Arch Linux - however a few more infos would be needed... like which "Linux" (= which distribution) are you even using?!
Also why poclbm AND hashkill? Anyways, Arch has poclbm and phoenix-miner in AUR as well as hashkill (you'd still need the bitcoin plugin for the latter though)... the full script would require more than 1 hour of work though probably and also mean I'd take my miner offline --> not gonna happen, my time is worth more than 17 USD/hour! Now only need to get hashkill working.... No bounty ! Title: Re: just installed a clean Linux, need help (1 TBC bounty ) Post by: xioros on June 19, 2011, 09:58:18 AM Could anyone give me the commands to install hashkill?

http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=6819.0 Quote Installation is simple - just run sudo ./install.sh (it requires superuser privileges in order to copy the plugins and kernels to /usr/share/) |
