Title: Sportsbooks supporting alt coins
Post by: Wendigo on February 10, 2017, 10:21:29 AM
Hey guys with the current Bitcoin price hike I think it's time to venture out into alt coin betting territory when you are gambling on a budget :D I am looking for Bitcoin sportsbooks that support betting with alt coins and preferably have live betting as well. If you could mention some alternatives to DirectBet would be very much appreciated. Please note that I am looking for Bitcoin sportsbooks only and not stand-alone casino/dice sites.
Thanks.

Betcoin.ag supports bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum deposit and withdrawal, but when you do deposits, they will convert the coins with specifiac rates into bitcoin chips, so I am not sure do you want this kind of sportsbook?

ethereum is there newly addition but i think betcoin.ag gota shaddy reputation on their service games offered, and i also suggest to play in crypto-games since they accepts alts and have series of games that you can choose to play on, but if OP thinks that he can't trust the sportsbook mentioned who accepting altcoins i think much better to stick on bitcoin so that it will be hassle since that coins is mostly the one adopted on all sportsbook who existed nowadays.

Hey guys thanks for the feedback. I mean alt coin betting as in depositing and betting with actual alt coins stored in a multi wallet on the sportsbook. I am not looking for deposits and withdrawals with different alt coins.

So far, I don't find such site except directbet, but DB's odds are terrible, maybe there will be some new sportsbook will add altcoin betting, now you have to play in directbet, or exchange it into bitcoin on poloniex&bittrex

For Ethereum, you can use directbet.eu, they do allow you to place sports bets using Ethereum, and you don't need to register an account with them, just send your Ethereum to the address they provided to you after you have made your selection, and remember to input your withdrawal Ethereum wallet address too.

If your selection bets is a winning bets, they will send your winnings to your wallet automatically, there is no need to click on withdrawal.

Directbet.eu is the only trustable site in this matter, that with only ETH. I don't think that there is more population of users for other altcoins.  :)

If you read wendigo's thread, you should know he has already known directbet, and want to know another site like directbet, although there is not, eventually there will be some sites like directbet.

Jesus Christ people do you even read any more. I am aware about Direct Bet but they lack important lines especially for their American Sports bet offers and I need an alternative. I bet with Bitcoins on my favorite sites but as the minimum bet amount is 1mbtc and I like to fuck around with a lot of parlays every week for fun I need a lower threshold. Imagine if Bitcoin goes to $2000 at the end of the year  ;D

I don't know any except Directbet that accepts altcoins, at least the ones that have sportbooks, and let you play with altcoins(that is, makes no conversion)

Maybe your alternative is bet with money, probably some internet gambling sites will have lower minimum than the equivalent of 1mBTC

What if you win and the price goes to $2000 by the end of the year

I know another sportsbook that supports alt coins but I don't know if they accept betting on alt coins. Coinbet24 accepts deposits via altcoins but i haven't tried them I only used bitcoin on them when betting.  Their minimum stake each bet is 0.5mbtc if thats what you're looking for.

Directbet.eu is great, one of the most trustable sportsmaker casino around, never had any problems using their services but I don't think the support that many altcoins (other than ETH and I remember DOGE I think, it was a big part of their Direct Casino, not sure how that went).

Another option you can consider is exchanging your altcoins for BTC with a service like Shapeshift or Blocktrades before betting. I know the spreads are not the best but they are very easy to use and extremely fast.

As you are saying its one of best and most trust-able sports-betting site but some time they are missing lines which are available on all others sites with bitcoins and fiat they need to do some work for this if they want more customers

Wtf, people just spamming with their useless reply, doesn't even read what OP want and just posting what they want (either it for increase their post count or increase their activity). OP already said if he want an alternative site beside Directbet.eu and 3 people above me keep replied about "Directbet.eu"

~snip~
Why you are looking for altcoin sports betting since we can use bitcoin to bet..
Why you are so bothered with that? Let him bet whatever he want. It's none of your business

There are very few sportsbooks that accept altcoins but I know of directbet who are also very reliable and reputable sportsbook, then there is 1xbit who now accept dash and ethereum but caution when betting there  as they are believed to confiscate money from their customers.
