Title: NEED HELP with mining on MAC! Neither mining programs work! Post by: Novi on June 16, 2011, 12:49:46 PM Hello everyone, I'm trying to start mining with RPCminer on mac, I followed this guide:
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=14348.0 However when I try to start I get the following message: "CURL return value = 22 Could not retrieve work from RPC server. CURL return value = 22 No blocks are being hashed right now. This can happen if the application is still starting up, you supplied incorrect parameters, or there is a communications error connecting to the RPC server. Could not retrieve work from RPC server." etc. Can anyone help me? I would really like to contribute to this project (and make som money hehe) =) E: Update I tried Diablominer but it gives me the following error: [6/17/11 7:01:27 AM] ERROR: OpenCL platform Apple contains no devices Did something go wrong? Relaunch and enter the Set up wizard by pressing 1 and Enter during start-up, and check your configuration. logout I have the Macbook Pro 2011-model Please somebody HELP!! Are you using a GUI tool or the command line script?
