Title: Novacoin.org
Post by: cycloid on April 17, 2013, 03:48:06 AM
Well after I bought the doimain novacoin.org i didnt know what to do with it for a while and then after doing some research about the coin and seeing how btc-e destroyed their reserve and currency actually offering something new I decided to go ahead and bring it back to what it should be :)

All credit goes to  Balthazar for creating it and yes i understand that some still have something negative to say oh well.

Anyone who can help with development of a pool plz pm me I am willing to offer a 100nvc bounty to help set it up  ;D

Well done :)

This is much better than the site i had there, congrats
Im happy that it "fell" on good hands

As of the bounty, im pretty sure that user serraz, or khaos can help you with the pool. Otherwise if you dont find anyone to help you with it, i could try to build one for you.
I now mess with pushpool and mmcfe to build my own pool, so im still learning

Thanks man :)

I will try messaging the people you mentioned and will keep you in mind. Appreciate the offer and advise on who to talk to about it!

I feel like with more batches of ASICS being sent out by Avalon and who know maybe BFL some time in 2013 scrypt currencies will thrive :)

Any ETA on the NVC pool? There is so few options right now, it really sucks.

I would think the premine was the main issue with NVC, and that was destroyed.  So what else is there negative to say?

Your exchange button links to Vircurex, but I don't think Vircurex trades NVC.

Or maybe I'm just confused.

coating a turd with gold doesn't change the fact that it is still a turd. Novascam is a scam plain and simple. Invest and I hope you lose your money  :D

I understand your concern, but I disagree as I see this coin as a good alternative and one of the few Scrypt coins around that offer something new. (appose to Feathercoin not to bring it down though just an observation)
With all the ASICS out there hopping around from ppc to trc and back to btc I think we need something for GPU miners to work with and over time this coin will build itself up.

Maybe I am crazy but I am willing to let open source market decide for itself :)

I see that it's easy to calculate trolls mental impotence index from current NVC chain age value.

Very nice looking site cycloid, impressive.

I went ahead and joined the pool at nvc.khore.org with one of my CPU only servers.  I'll be watching this thread to see when your pool is up and running.

The site is unavailable all the day. Is there any information regarding completion of maintenance time?
