Title: searching for a lending/investing service
Post by: User365 on February 13, 2017, 03:45:49 PM
Hey there,

i would like to invest my BTC,

so i was wondering if there is some kind of company/organisation/website, which lends money to people and takes money from investors. (both with interest)
BUT a well known site, which is Guaranteed no Ponzi and where the "partner" is the company/organisation/website so i canīt get scammed.

You would might want to take a look at Cryptomerian, which is an investment fund, which divests their investments in many dice bankrolls and ICO's.

www.cryptomerian.com (http://www.cryptomerian.com)

Your second option is going to the Gambling section, and choosing a gambling site, and invest in their bankroll. The returns won't be big, bit I'd imagine that's what you're looking for.

May I ask, what is the amount you have planned to invest?

I might have a business venture for you if you are available on the computer most of the day.
It requires no skill only to have a finger to click and to be assistance in a project with another partner here.

Pm me if you are interested.

Nothing like that ever existed.Investments are always subjects to market risks and hence there is no such thing as "safe investments".
Without a doubt,that site www.cryptomerian.com seems scammy to me.I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.
Be safe Op!

If you agree with Joel and think Cryptomerian seems scammy, I suggest you go to Gambling section and pick a trusted and well known gambling site and invest in its bankroll. There is lots of ups and downs, but in the long run you should end up in profit.

For example, take a look here: https://dicesites.com/
It is a site made by a trusted member of the forum (can't remember who, but you can find the thread somewhere) that has listed all dice sites and their statistic. That is a good place to see which site you would like to invest in.

I`m not sure that this guy was serious about his business venture.
Anyway, just google "bitcoin lending" and you will find the most reputable platforms.
Bitcoin lending/investing is still very risky.

Just try to invest it in poloniex or some other trusted exchange that has a lending feature. But don't expect the profits to be anything near a passive income that could sustain you forever. It's just small and it might even be dangerous as there is a chance your money will not return to you as a whole. I believe there is btcjam too, I am not too sure about it though, better research it first.

I don't think that putting up money or letting other handles your money for lending purposes isn't a good idea at all just like what you have mentioned on putting on btcjam poloniex and the risk is always there on losing out money not only in lending service but all investments do really have it.

Hey there,

i would like to - have someone steal - my BTC,

Because that's almost overwhelmingly likely to happen.

There is a very simple question anyone should be asking themselves, why isn't there one single established and properly legit business offering any type of investment with Bitcoin? There's no return possible.

And I don't mean places with a bearable track record so far, I mean your Coinbases and Geminis. Y'know, places that might actually be answerable to the law.

There are hundreds of thousands of BTC holders with coins doing nothing. If there was a safe way to invest them you'd most certainly know about it.

I just think if the number three on your list are very risky. At least the lender must put the lowest loan rather than the collateral's worth. But it's good with the other list like polo or bitfinex.

all lending options are risky, and it is not limited to lending on a specific platform such as bitcointalk. in fact i think bitcointalk is the safest one since you can take a collateral.
but these risks can be lowered with vetting the borrowers and also taking a collateral.

but i agree on the #4 being super risky, moneypot investors have been losing money for a long time which doesn't seem to change and it is gambling and you can't do anything about it even as an investor.

I guess poloniex is good one to try, but better try small amount first then work on it until you know how will your money grow in their hands, also there are some gambling sites that looks for investors yet hard to give trust. But then investing is always together with risk.

I have checked many times, there were plenty of lenders on poloniex whereas there were no borrowers. Because you can only use that only for your margin trading, and only your profits and your original capital will be available for withdraw.

At the same time, we try Bitcointalk lending section as there are people always asking for loans, with the proper collateral the success rate will be relatively huge always.

If you really wanted to start the lending service then you can go in lending section of this forum where you will find lot of opportunity to start you own lending service and earn nicely but just take care of the safety measures so that you should not become victim of a scam

I usually seen many people use their account as collateral when they are asking for a loan,  which we know it is too risky for lender, they (borrower) could default their loan and the lender can't sell their account. I don't think lending service is legit again except they are using another valid collateral, e.g altcoins

If you really wanted to start the lending service then you can go in lending section of this forum where you will find lot of opportunity to start you own lending service and earn nicely but just take care of the safety measures so that you should not become victim of a scam
He doesn't want start lending service, but looking for a legit lending site/organization/company which he can invest his money.

Technically there would be no big differences ?
Other than setting up basic set up (like website/promotions), having own lending services or investing into other business will have same level of risks. Personally I would prefer having own lending business rather than investing into others business.

There are no any legit lending service, even if the service is legit but the borrower himself will scam you because there are lots of case where borrower uses fake id and other personal details to borrow some big amount from investors lured by high daily interest.

The only legit way to earn interest over your investment could be giving your bitcoin for margin trading, known as margin lending. Few trusted trading platform have this option, you can try them.

There's also a lot of risk investing in this kind of company or group, take a look at btcjam, there's a lot of complaints about people investing getting their disable account for some reason, better to just learn how to lend on your own so you will have full control on who will you lend your money, just like members on lending section.

I am a member of BTCjam since a year or something but I didn't face any problem yet. Recently they stopped taking new customers from the US and (not sure but) there are 0 requests for new loans since a month.
There are several other sites too but I have never tried it yet. My BTCjam account is working fine (I'm not from US) but there are no requests to fill the loans.

I do see many people are keeping on recommending this type of investments after gambling bankroll investment opportunities.

But I am not seeing anyone sharing their profit returns levels like ROI stats. I am eagerly looking for people to share that because that alone will show the real opportunities of investing in margin lending.

You can try in btcjam although it is not 100% guaranteed that you will not get scammed. Btcjam is just a peer to peer platform.

To ensure your moneys safety you have do an in-depth research about the lender/investment. If you're skeptical about it you can

also try margin trading in poloniex. Here is the link, https://poloniex.com/support/aboutMarginTrading/

No one would really mind to share their profit stats online or on public i dont know whats the reason but for sure its just on personal thing. Gambling bankroll investment is really better compared on lending services it may not give returns on month basis but we arent be hassled on the things just like you do in having a lending service.

You should be able to know with certainty to investments in the bitcoin, because there are some sites that offer investment but the originals they are fraudsters. So, you might be better off investing in the exchange site that have been standing for a long time or on gambling sites that have a good reputation and have been standing more than 1 year. Because exchange and gambling sites is the most attractive investment spot and safest
