Title: Is Atomic Project legit and worth a try?
Post by: artisticx on February 14, 2017, 02:41:35 PM
I was recently introduced to Atomicproject.org by one of my friend. Being new to the crypto, anyone can confirm its legacy and authenticity please?

Whoever wants that should be ready to defend his project with the UN, USA, etc. I just believe you cant pass through all these and be qualified, most esp as a personal thing not government project

Ticker ATOM
Algo Scrypt
PoW/PoS
POW Time blocks: 60 sec.
POW Block reward: 600
Total POW coins : 6,600,000
POS:  100% Yearly Interest.
Total coins After POS End: 252,000,000
PoS:  100% Interest. ( Approx: 0.27% EveryDay )
Min.Coin age: 8 hours
Max age: unlimited

100% interest per year sound really high which will double total supply of this coin every year so if there will be no demand for it in future, you may actually loss.

Looking at https://yobit.io/en/trade/ATOM/BTC
Daily Trading volume for this one is only 0.20BTC which is really low so don't invest much because you may struggle to sell them later on.

As per your kind response I can say it is somewhat legit but just because of low activity at the moment, investment would be risky?

Even if the supply doubled every year it is still low,but the one thing that can make this coin attractive to investors and traders are it's roadmap, coin specification alone is not a guaranty of success, but where to use is how this coin will go far ..

it's risky because 100% per years means 100/365 per day, which is very low, by the time you reach 100% the coin maybe is dead or delisted from yobit
