Title: 1 btc to get started
Post by: delinquent on April 17, 2013, 06:11:50 PM
Hi, I'm looking for anyone willing to help me get started in trading bitcoins. I'm hoping that, as the value appears to be highest during the lunchtime and lowest in the early evening, I can take advantage of this and make a small amount of profit.

After a quick look through the thread, the going rate of interest appears to be 15%. I'm willing to go with that, or a near value, and I aim to repay within two to three weeks.

I am situated within the UK, and I am willing to accept requests via social networking media and/or other forums. At this point in time, the three forums I use most often are the following:

Armagetron based:
Phoenix-clan.org
forums.armagetronad.net

I bear the username "delinquent" in both forums

A national community of skateboarders:
forums.sidewalkmag.com

where I bear the username "andyo"

I'm also willing to trade phone numbers, which seems to make sense to me as most non-virtual lenders would ask for the same.

Also, I would really appreciate any solid advice, as I've been away from bitcoin for a long time. I had a stint last year, but destroyed a gpu trying to mine coins.

Lastly, my apologies if TMI, I'm trying to be as frank and open as possible.

If everyone could buy low and sell high, we would all be rich.   ;D

What is your plan if your trading doesn't go well?  What collateral do you have to offer?

I cashed a postal order for £200 this morning, takes my bank about a week to process. I would wait to use that for my investment instead, but I don't get very much free time anymore, what with my work and my volunteering (I teach skateboarding at a local park). Usually, I get the odd weekend off, and I was lucky to have four days to myself this week. For once, I get to take advantage of my fibre optic (at last), and do a bit of internet trawling, alongside this.

Yes people, by all means "lend" to the guy calling himself "delinquent". There's no way that could go wrong.

Sorry man, however legit your request might be, 99 times out of 100 these types of loans will be defaulted on. Your best bet is to just buy your coins like everybody else  :)

I'm thinking about offering services for btc here, actually. Does anyone do that sort of thing?

Yeah, there's quite a lot of people doing that. Check the services board.
