My grandfather had died when I was a kid. >:(

One of my grandfathers (father of my father) has died before my birth and that was 1981, I don‚t know how old he will be now `cause I dont know when he was born. The other grandfather (father of my mother) died in war when my mother was baby that would be maybe 1944. I also dont know his date of birth but I know he was lot younger then grandmother (and she was born 1916), so he would be around of 90-95 years old now.

If your grandfather is still alive, you are very lucky. My grandfather died before I was born.
It's also nice to have lived up to the age of 113. So he took care of himself.

My grandfather would have been '92 February 5, 2017. But he did not live to that age

And I don't remember any birthday of my grandfather nor the birthday of my grandmother. The grandfather died after the war and I have not seen him, and my grandmother remember. She loved me very much. I still have my first wrist watch which she gave me for my birthday

Reminds me of the time (no pun intended) when my grandfather on my dad's side was in the hospital during his final days. I was there with my grandmother and she took the watch off his wrist and gave it to me. I could tell that he was probably pissed but way too weak to express his discontent. At the time, I was just happy to have a nice Timex. Hey, I just thought of something. I was looking at old photos just yesterday and found one where I, with five others, were carrying his coffin. I'm wearing the watch.

Photo where carrying a coffin... that is creepy. I though that only good memories are meant to be captured with photos. Who what memories of the funeral to be captured and saved, that is really weird  ???

After carrying the coffin into the viewing room, we lingered till all the guests finally left. We then locked the doors, opened the coffin, and ate the body. What was really weird is that grandma mysteriously died a week later, thus us getting our desert earlier than expected. What's in your coffin?

I merely remember anything about my grandfather, you're lucky I always want to have a bonding moments with my grandfather since we both love music, but still world isn't perfect, he died when I was 4 years old. You're a lucky guy you know.

My grandfather died two years ago. He died at the age of 94 years :( :'(

From death no one is immune. My grandfather died at the age of 80, 4 years ago.

He's 89 this year and still reading bunch of books and stuff. Too bad he's almost 100 miles away from my place so I don't visit him often.

My grandfather died in a car accident >:(  I was very small back then, and I almost do not remember anything. He was only 60 years old.

If you find another of your grandfather, especially at such a respectable age, then this is very good. Even for you personally, this is an indicator. I mean the opportunity for you personally to live a very good and long life as your grandfather. I do not want to talk about my grandfathers. They very early passed away.

Lung cancer took my grandpa down in his late 50s. I wasn't even born yet. Gives me one more motive to stay as far away from cigarettes as possible.

My grandfather died when my father was a child. He died at age 50. and lived in the time of second world war era

He was a great man.In our village he was the most senior person .Every body respect him and he also love to all.He always try to help the poor one.He always try to development of the village.He loves me very much.But he is no more .I also love him.He is my icon person.I always miss him.

One was dead before I was born and have heard lots of stories about them from my uncles. The other one died 8 years ago who was the coolest person I know and the most amazing story teller. I miss them sometimes, we all do I guess.

Gilang is my grandfather's name, date of birth I do not know, grandfather died when I was 5 years old, has been very long, I only remember the face of grandpa.

To my large regret two my grand-dads died yet to my birth. I knew them only on the stories of the parents. The good were people. One of them participant of the second world war.

My grandfather on my dad's side was drafted in the German Army during WWII. Wait, what? My grandfather was a Nazi? Seriously, after all these years (I'm 57), I only thought of him as having serving a stint as a German soldier and not as a Nazi, just now getting enlightened (not meant he being a Nazi is/was a good thing).

Aside: I attended a high school (class '78) that only had one [younger than I] black person attending at the time. Reflecting back, I recall hearing/telling a many Jew jokes but few black jokes as kids do when young (many Dutch jokes because near town of Demotte). That said, BRB. I need to empty the ashtray in my Volkswagen.  ;D ;D ;D

My maternal grandfather died when i was a months old so I don't have memory about him. While my paternal grandfather died when i was in my sophomore year in high school way back in 2001. He's such a good grandfather to me. He became my 2nd father when my dad died. But unfortunately, he too needed to leave then. I missed him so much.

My grandfather a hero, but now he has gone and had a quiet to heaven when against the disease suffered fellow still alive. Now he became a reflection of for me to later I can be useful for parents and also the country
