Title: [ANN] HashForest.com Official Announcement!
Post by: HashForest on February 18, 2017, 08:42:57 PM
Hi,

We are HashForest (http://www.hashforest.com), A cloud mining company located in La Crête, Canada.

Our goal is to make cloud mining accessible for anyone and to provide as much transparency as possible to gain and, most importantly keep, the trust of our customers!

We are launching the service this month, still a startup and we have hundreds of new members already, the platform were created from scratch few months earlier and we have plans for more features to come.

We are also providing a very competitive referral program ! you will earn daily 8% from your referred members hash rate, forever !

Actually we've started mining with 80 S9 Antminers, and more S7+S9 miners are coming next months; we are taking advantage from cheap electricity in La Crête (AB/Canada).

As far as transparency goes, everyone is welcome to schedule a visit to check the farm out, we are willing to make photos and videos available soon as we're working on project assembly, stabilization and lot of startup logistics.

I researched your staff members a bit and at first glance this bunch seems to be totally fake.
Isn't Cyril Ward, CTO of your company in reality a Oded Hubert, vice president regulatory affairs at Hydro One, from Toronto?
His LinkedIn profile: https://ca.linkedin.com/in/oded-hubert-2590624 (https://ca.linkedin.com/in/oded-hubert-2590624)

Andrew Smith, Facility manager is listed on this site - https://www.meetup.com/Open-Data-Ottawa/members/76059702/ (https://www.meetup.com/Open-Data-Ottawa/members/76059702/) as article author, under the name Ian W.

It is enough for me to label your service as a scam.

It is enough for me to label your service as a scam.
And if it wasn't obvious enough, offering 8% extra hash rate doesn't seem that reasonable.  I'd love to see pictures of the facility.

ya thats sketchy...

@OP  i am less than 12 hours from your "location"  haha, a good drive!  i kinda feel like your already scared away to pursue this but if you add pics oF DC and wanna prove your legitimacy keep in mind theres members (like me) that can, and will, literally drive to your DC just to prove its real and shit ;p
On that note, we Canadians LOVE local DCs , so IF, and thats a big IF, you are real, you may find some customers in us also no doubt :)

Either way, my popcorn is ready as they say haha, i hope you reply to us! :D

Even with pictures, I wont still believe because that can easily be gotten on the internet. Cloud mining on its own is a ponzi site and thats what it means to me. And with the return this site is now offering at 8% daily on referrals, then I dont need a sooth sayer to tell me this is double ponzi scheme. Good luck to those who wants to try this out and hopefully you will be able to recoup your investment in 2050...

Of course, Hashocean, Hashflare, etc. were already there, now this Hashforest is also here   ::)
What's next, Hashmountain or Hashplateau?  ;D
Literally there are more such scammers out there than real cloud mining websites.  :P

It's cool how you guys are all skeptical, why don't you give a chance for the project to prove legitimacy before blind attacks.

You're right at some points, we're lacking transparency at this moment, i've pointed that in my announcement, we're willing to make more marketing efforts to bring photos and videos, although actually we're starting with a small DC, do not expect something like genesis-mining anyway :) but our plans are to grow and get big.

No matter how big you are your company must be registered somewhere. Maybe prove that it actually exist ? Any if you are looking up to Genesis mining maybe it's not a good idea to publicly announce that since they are scam anyway...

Honest suggestion to every forum user to stay away from HashForest.com. Its another scam project encouraging user to invest their hard earned BTC.

Already many cloud mining sites have disappeared. Same as way this one will also vanish after some time.

So its better to keep safe your BTC.
