What do people think a bitcoin worth will be in 6 months?

no one know what will be the price in 6 months but the value looking very strong to me, the probability to have it higher than now is very high, we just need to wait for all the chinse to solve their issue with exchange to be on track, what i like about all this is that bitcoin is still not used as a real currency only small purchase here and there, when will be used globally the value will explode

it would be either $1500 or the same as today but it will be higher than $1000

although there are too many things that are unpredictable about bitcoin that can change the price. for example the ETF deadline that is coming in the near future. it can cause a sudden rise or it can be disapproved and cause some panic hence prolonging the eventual rise.

This time price movement is stable from the start of the year. Due to some market issues experienced in China bitcoin exchange the price fell and once again grew back to the price from which the gradual decrease took place. Considering every market scenarios and based upon the speculations prevailing among the users I think the price will stand above $1000 even after 6months and might move close to $1200.

In my opinion we have ended the 265 cycle so in the next 6 months the price will not change very much. After that I would guess the price should increase. But ofcourse the price can adjust to Vinklevoss endavour, Mtgox, some Trump decisions and by the time being.

As we know bitcoin getting notice by people world wide day by day but IMO bitcoin in next 6 month still not able reach over $ 1500.
Just saw my local graph about bitcoin trend , bitcoin will reach over $ 1500 this end december as more trader interest on bitcoin and use it for their main transaction

It's definitely hard to predict for the moment but If we ever get over SegWit , LN and the blocksize debate + the Bitcoin ETF of the twins gets approved , I don't think we will ever see bitcoin anywhere below 2000$ again.

Indeed, but all of those factors may get another denied from others (whomever in charge/has a role), so we can not expect so much.
Those things already debated for a long time and still nothing as outcome.
If the market trading and trend in some countries keep on these current of situations, I guess we could speculate bitcoin will reach around $1300-1500 in 6 months later.

I think price would be around $1200 - $1300, that is ETF being disapproved, if ETF is approved then i guess we can see higher Bitcoin price at around $1500, as long as there is no bad press to happen  that will pull Bitcoin price down within that month range..

6-700 or 1200-1300 is my guess depending on more china revelations, maybe most of them really do turn out to be bucket shops, and an etf dump/pump even though both of them would be pure artificial panic/speculation.

As long as the price sustained it's wonderful and strong stand at above $1,000 then any price will do. If in 6 months still the bitcoin price landed at $700 or $800 that means we are not ready yet for the skyrocket price that anyone wants.

The mentioned price is a good opportunity to buy cheap coins but how long we like to stay at that scenario? Hopefully $1,000 can be considered as cheap price too.

Bitcoin prices might get doubled in next  six months.
Yes, I'm not just talking about on a speculation but there are a lot of supporting news are going to happen like bitcoin ETF approval and Trump's new economy policies targeting individual person's power and growth.

Very probable bitcoin price be between 1500$ and 2000$. What means it's still profitable to buy bitcoins now to hold it and wait the price rise to 1500$ or 2000$ and sell it to have 50%-100% profit over the currently price.
It's a good estimative, not so optimistic, but not so pessimist too.

Taking into account the usual predictions that people in this forum have frequently shared here, it is undoubted that no one has the capability to foresee any price in anytime. So I have learned that this kind of predictions are totally useless, especially when we have seen the very volatile and unpredictable moves in the bitcoin price in last days, and its great sensibility to Chinese events.

I don't expect big jump like 2000$ or so but I beleive bitcoin could keep the price around 1000$ and something above. Some minor crashes, dumps are possible of course but I hope the tendencija of rising price will continue its path. Generaly I expect positive development of bitcoins price.

2017 should be a very good year for Bitcoin. We started pretty good for now, and we can easily touch $1300 in a month or two. At the end of the year, 1,7-1,8 is very possible. That's a 35-40% bump within a half year.

i agree, we have got so many good news coming for bitcoin too. with Trump's bitcoin freindly financial team i am sure we will see a lot of things too. and besides the 40% rise is nothing for bitcoin, we always see at least 100% rises for it in a year and if this year lives up to the expectation and then the ETF is approved i can expect $2000+ by the end of the year.

Very difficult to predict the price of bitcoin within a period of 6 months. I'm sure at 6 months of bitcoin will always fluctuate so prices could go up and down. But there will be times when the price of bitcoin will reach $ 1600 and lasted until several weeks, I'm sure it will happen Although now that prices are down. Prices fluctuate but will tend to rise.

For sure there will be a lot of changes that is going to happen in the price in the next few months, but I want to bet that it is going to stabilize at the $1200 level for a while. The next few resistances might be too strong to break and the selling pressure will be higher once the price reaches that point because of those who would be taking profits.

I am thinking of a $1500 hit. You said just for six months and I guess you will be investing your money that is why you are asking this.
Why not go for a year? It will be a lot better considering the holidays are in December and there is a big pump that is going on from that time.
Remember it is just my opinion and the same as them. It will still be you who decides.

I really love how there aren't really any trolls around here and everyone's mostly like "oh ofc bitcoin's going up". 2017 has definitely a good year for bitcoin so far and I'm expecting to see at least $1500 within the year. Time to buy and hodl.

My prediction for the price of bitcoin in 6 months is we are going to break the top price ever for bitcoin with a bitcoin price of 1500 or something close to it, but it is difficult to know if it will actually reach that price since there are always the risk of hacks that could lower the price of bitcoin significantly.

If all the fundamental issues are taking care of I expect bitcoin price to be around $1500. We should also look at technical issues also as it form traders decision. Also people bank of china has taken a position against bitcoin and others crypto currencies. Many traders know that people bank of china want to keep the price below $1000 using the regulatory as a tools

there are no issues apart from some minor difficulties and lots of FUD about it. and none of these things are affecting "traders" because they don't care about these so called issues you have in mind, and they can not prevent price from rising.

the bank of china can not care less about the "price" of bitcoin. they only care about regulating the "exchanges" and preventing crimes such as money laundering through these services.

I think bitcoin will reach the 1500$ price after six months. Bitcoin has been stable at 1000$ for almost a month and it seems that theres no possible way for it to go down. So the only way is to go up.

the price of the closest in the next 6 months may be around $ 1400. Well, maybe bitcoin will rise slowly, and I am sure, it will make it have a high enough price within 6 months. but may be it is not stable, because it could be said that it was also a modest increase rapidly.

I would go with $1700, because Bitcoin really seems to be ready for a break out now. We have flirted with $1200 and retreated quite a few times now. Once we cross $1200, I think Bitcoin would move substantially upwards before settling down.

My analysis has lead me to believe that the Bitcoin prices will push towards $1,500 or $2,000 and higher figures to expect by the end of the year.

No matter how long you hold for, the price is yet to keep increasing to cap at it's full potential. There's no end right now, especially with what Satoshi will revamp after full nodes have been halved.

Now the buying power is high so it's easy to do it .
