Title: £80000 in electricity mining?
Post by: Stovemaster on April 18, 2013, 05:54:11 PM
Is that even possible?

Found this ebay auction:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1000-Bitcoins-one-thousand-bitcoin-/181120294757?pt=UK_Coins_World_RL&hash=item2a2b9c5f65

That works out a £109 a day. Unless they had a server farm, is using that much electricity possible?

(i smell slight scam on that advert, something doesnt feel right about it)

That's what I thought. Charging 70k Sterling to your cc will probably initiate a phone call though :P

Yeah... A guy with 0 feedback just putting that out there, looks like he is just fishing for someone who is stupid enough to send him 30 grand LOL

Probably like winning the lottery with better chances honestly  :D
