slowly but surely bitcoin went up and then continued going up even with all the things thrown at it from different angles.
all the Chinese and their news shenanigans, all the rest of the crap talking about "flaws" which seems to be the new FUD topic around these parts.

price continues going up disregarding all of it only because investors don't give a rat's behind to any of these things :)

and all the dips makes them happy because they buy even more bitcoin for next continuation of the rise.

Recent FUD didn't work and now the price climbs up and even breached the $1,100 mark value.

Not a cheap price to consider by other so basically the best thing to do is hold. But they must also consider that a price tagged as h"igh price" may become "low price" someday so in here the best thing to do is buy and hold.

Yawn. Somehow $1100 doesn't seem to excite me. This is just a small step in the race to the moon.
Bitcoin is achieving this in spite of negative news around - the block size debate, China, Bitfinex hacking.
Next stop $1200. This should be achieved within a month's time.

The price is rising because of speculation about the ETF. But if the ETF is denied, it will drop back down again. I also expect some people will take some profits off the table in early March just in case.

No surprises. It is highly expected when we were seeing strong prices trading around $1050 levels. But luckily the physiological resistances around $1100 got easily broken  and prices are trading around $1110 right now.

We are getting mixed predictions on approval of bitcoin ETF but traders sentiments are seeming quite positive on this.

The price could hover around $1100 for some time.

i always disagree with the term "physiological resistances" because i believe there is no such thing. and the only thing that i could say can come close to a "physiological resistances" is the $1000 barrier because for one, price is usually evaluated in USD not much in other currencies like CAD or EUR and also it is the barrier between 3 and 4 digits.

but that is just trying to explain something that doesn't exist :)

In my opinion, "physiological resistances" are very real but only when it comes to very round "nice" looking numbers, so that's $1000, $2000, $3000...

And we crossed confidently the $1000 barrier, which means the only thing separating us from $2000 now is the ATH. Once the ATH is crossed, big time FOMO will kick in, the party begins.

And my milestone and expectation should start now. The price can go higher now and be possible to move forward up to $1,500.

I'm believing that this slow increase of bitcoin will be continuous and no one will interrupt it or any other some sort of disruption to make the price increase to stop.

Well, we getting some bad vibes from many angles that the ETF might never see the light of day and I think many share this sentiment, but they

do not want to be left out, IF this happens. We saw what happened with Trump and him winning against all speculation that he had no chance. I

would much rather get in now, and reap the rewards if this goes down.. than sitting on the side when everyone goes crazy, if the price triple

after the ETF approval.  ::)

Yeah we can now celebrate bitcoin is still getting high ,
And I know we all hope that the price of bitcoin would continue to increase.

Still believe we could test this range again. If the ETF shouldn't be approved, what seems to be very likely, we will see how the market will behave and if the $1000 will hold or not.

indeed this situations is really good and all major exchanges has already reach it but i was hoping more and next target price would be $1200 i wish it happening in the near future but the main things is the price stable at $1000 or above

this now bitcoin price is over 1100 dollar/bitcoin
the new resistance price in level 1200 dollar, and support price in level 900 dollar, R1 and S1

price just went up, and a $400 rise to $1500 needs lots more time. it won't happen this soon. specially since there are lots of things still going on.
with the China situation coming to a conclusion soon and then the ETF fate being decided soon too. these things can swing the price around for a while and we know bitcoin traders love nothing more than these types of swings to accumulate more bitcoin for the next rally.

Though every exchange has come up with a price above $1100 right now no one is there to predict the precise reason behind the growth. This time China's influence is not felt much but analysts have mentioned it as an gradual growth. As the price too is stabilizing and moving forward shows it an real one.

what are you talking about?
price is always rising because of increasing demand. things like ETF (even with it not approved) and lots of other news such as the Megaupload one are putting bitcoin on the media and giving it so much attention. and this will bring lots of new investors and price always goes up because of it.
besides, Chinese are still buying bitcoin, they are just doing it off the exchanges you know names of.

Bitcoin is at its all time high right now. One big factor is the ETF, thats why a lot
of investors are pumping into the bitcoin ecosystem. Just imagine if the ETF is
approved millions or probably billions could be injected into the bitcoin marketplace
which will send bitcoin price surging to 2000 USD.

If not approved, then the price will fall but not that much I think. We will probably
experience a few ups and downs but the price will be steady at the range of 900-1500
at the end of the year.

but the ETF money is already in bitcoin, it is not going to come in after approval and it will not exit after rejection. they have already injected the money into bitcoin while it was cheaper and nobody was watching.

if ETF is approved other people may find out about bitcoin and want to "directly" invest in it and cause a price rise and also the hype of the approval can raise the price.

and the rejection also doesn't have that big a effect to be able to break the $1000 resistance at this point. i say that is highly unlikely.

I'm a little scared of the ETF not getting approved, to be honest. We're doing really well right now and I'd really hate to see it getting derailed by the ETF getting disapproved.


Overall I'm very proud of where we are now especially considering where we started out as.

It's great to see the prices are this high, and I really hope it continues to grow as this is great news for everybody using bitcoins. I really think that it will continue to rise up till $1,500 and we'll see another correction from there. After that probably we will see that new milestone of $2,000.

Yes it seems so, prices continue to skyrocket, if we sell might have been lucky, but I recommend to be patient and hold because the price could still rise again. If this month the price never drop $1,000, I'm sure the price will reach $1,500 not more a month later.

Is there any large and strong demand for bitcoins in the market? what I want to know, can you for example sell 1M coins at price above $1000?
People need to stop selling their bitcoins so cheap to the governments, yes they are buying and accumulating as much as they can for future and they know either this experiment fails in the future or it becomes a real thing and serious one and both ways works for them since they are getting cheap coins and they have all the money in the world and if thrives then they can control and manipulate the network and the market if holding millions of coins.
So please stop selling under $2000.

I'm pretty confident that we'll reach $1500 sometime before the ETF decision is finalized. After that, I hope we still go up regardless of ETF results.

Don't be surprised if we have a correction in the price especially if the ETF was not approved. It went up very quickly so I would expect it, but you never know for sure.

Congratulations to all patient bitcoiners. Now they are rewarded for they strong believe in Bitcoin. But don't relax,  I've got a feeling it will hit 1500 before summer

the bitcoin holders are relaxed and they don't even care about $1500 that is still way too low for them (them means me too :) ). when you invest for long term in something like bitcoin you open up preev.com once a month to see how much you have made so far in the past year +1 month, 2 month... and maybe sell something like 0.1BTC once every 6 months to celebrate the achievement

Yeah, I think so too. If it does get approved, I think we'll see the moon and the prices will totally skyrocket. Though, we can't really predict how much it will affect the activity and popularity of bitcoin, it will always be welcome news for use bitcoin holders and users. I really hope it does have a positive effect.

why is it that people always exaggerate and even expect exaggerated results when it comes to bitcoin price speculation.

i mean ETF is not a fundamental, life-relying-on kind of thing for bitcoin. so the disapproval or approval can not change things drastically!

Yes and now we are at $1116 Usd dollars i already sold my coins because i need it and i want to use it for my personal purposes like paying my tuition fee on my school because pre-final is comming and its hard when you have dets on school i can still earn from trading and will hold it again once the bitcoin price is decrease.

There is a chance it will fly past that or it will be another beautiful dump.

Every previous approach to this current price was eventually followed by a serious drop despite the great enthusiasm and optimistic forecasts of most bitcoiners. I prefer to trust in my experience and that is why at this point I have sold 30% of my coins ;D

We are already on $1,123 and still it keeps on growing well I'm just being brought by excitement to see that the price is increasing.

But if this increase will keep on moving and when the ETF will be approved very soon. The real thing of price to swing up higher is there.

While it may not seem that exciting bitcoin has reached that price with bad news all over the place, what is going to happen when the only thing we have are good news, like a solution to the scalability problem, some countries recognizing bitcoin as legal tender and things like that.

Yes, we are above now on that price and all of us bitcoin holders is really glad that we are able to reach this price point again and im hoping that this price will be the new floor of bitcoin and will continue to increase even more on upcoming months or years to come.

I hope this increase in price continues and break ATH.  It is really inspiring to see our holding appreciate in value.  Aside from that I hope that Bitcoin ETF be approved this will further boost Bitcoin price.  Can Bitcoin break ATH this month, I hope it will  break its ATH  this month. 

if it does break the ATH this month then i suppose there would be a correction too, which means coming back from the ATH and staying at lower prices again (possible at $1050 level).

Yes we are, and new record is very close. Big question now is how much bitcoin can hold this high price, and do we need to expect some drop. Learned from past experiences I don`t wish to celebrate to quickly, we need to wait couple weeks, or month to be sure in this rise.


Smart move, I`m thinking about the same thing. It's better to feel safe than sorry, I will be cautious about this rise, we never know what will happen next with bitcoins, one big exchange can fall down and price will go down too.

Drop is inevitable but how far it will go remain to be seen. Like most predicted this will be golden year for bitcoin and we are very close to this, my expectation are to go on some levels of 1500 this year with possible drop to 1000. This is my prediction and for now everything look good and promising expect for all of us to gain some in this.

Finely! But now I am a bit regret, cause of I just couple days ago cashed out some money when the price was like 1040$. I am wonder of reasons that provoked the price to grow, if somebody know, please, post the link.

well, holding or not you should always try to learn how to recognize the difference between a "drop", "dump", "manipulation" and "correction".

because in all of these price goes down but it has different reasons and different meanings which leads to different decisions.

Correct if there is a bubble then we must keep our eyes open for a correction since there is no way to keep those prices that high, it will be a temporary thing but it seems the new floor for bitcoin is the 1000 mark.

i hope that new floor is really in $1xxx because many of us that hash been buy bitcoin with high price and if the price is suddenly gets down too deep, i can imagine what will happen. now we reach around in $1189, its almost $1200 and i see there is still up more, i don't know how much will the price moving.

The price increase is mainly down to built up excitement, and mainly because of the ETF. If it is not approved, bitcoin will drop down again, maybe as low as it was before. This is more the reason for them to not accept bitcoin. It's volatility is extremely high.

After the drop, it will rise again if there is more usage of bitcoin.

It will not drop that low, we will see probably a strong resistance to go lower than $1100, $1000 maximum, so we are going to see a lot of shorts positions getting destroyed as it fails to go lower than 4 figures.

And who knows, maybe nothing happens and it stays were it is now.

Yeah we are now at above $1100 and surely this will take no longer because $2k is not impossible to reach and bitcoin will continue ti influence people this year and many will be investing for good reasons and most reasons is fianancial problems, that's why they are having bitcoin to be a part of their lives.

The crypto currency is growing very speed and highly secure. There is no way to hacking or snoop ,glitch etc..,.The only way for earning Bitcoin is working hard worth some innovative idea. Someone will be doing smart work to increase their revenue. So the $1100 doesn't seem to excite me. This is just a small step in the race to the mars. It has proven that there are more enthusiasts bitcoin user that appear and the number keep on rising and if the etf being approved we will see another price rising again and bitcoin will become more popular and will become more valuable and my prediction it can passed 2000$ this year

The ETF was not approved, but the price of bitcoin did not drop much. The altcoins are rising fast.

altcoin are not rising, the only one that is rising is dashcoin, but the pump started long before the EFT fiasco, i don't think there is any connection between them

but there are chance that someone dumped his bitcoin just to jump on the dash train, and therefore i believe that this last crash was not exclusively caused by the EFT alone

Even though etf was not approved the price found to rise after a short time price variation. This shows that users were much interested into bitcoin usage. Also the adoption and governments will now realize the potential it has got to overcome price fluctuations. This is what making us to stand close to $1200.

I think the adoption is more important than the ETF. That is why I use some bitcoin to buy goods.
