Title: RIP Litecoin (sub 0.0025 incoming)
Post by: bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc on February 21, 2017, 02:27:24 PM
LTC has been breaking All Time Lows consistently every single day for the past month.

Sub 0.0025 coming within a month.

Anyone who holds LTC; get rid off it ASAP, or you'll miss out on even more potential profits.

Litecoin is officially dead.

I believe LTC is the first cryptocurrency to complete the bullish - stagnant - fake out - decline - dead cycle.

LTC will be worth less than $0,10 by the end of this year. All money is flowing to other cryptocurrencies.

 :D

you remember when they were saying that litecoin was officially dead, but then the halving arrived and they pumped to 0.01, now there is no halving but the price is the same, bitcoin is just dumped by miners, investors are holding until next increase, i'm confident

Before Litecoin use to keep pace with Bitcoin but since last year halving the price has diverged from eachother, I do fear for Litecoin  because for long the project as lived under the hype of Bitcoin with little development. I don't think SegWit activation  is going to save the price this can go the road of NXT soon

Holding Litecoin now is like having blood dripping out of your body slowly without stopping it. Its price keeps going down and any rallies are used as opportunities to sell. I don't get it what is wrong with this coin. It will be a matter of time before some whales start to panick and dump a large amount of coin in the open market, creating  a flash crash.

I think the upside of litecoin, the whales deliberately make litecoin price fell to its lowest point and then the whales will make the price back to normal

Yeah Im looking for any news mentioning March 11th but haven't found anything.

A lot of alt-coins are looking stale right now, actually Litecoin isn't doing too terrible in comparison.
Still need something to breathe life into this project, though.

I think he is talking about the decission about bitcoin ETF.  ;) No matter if it will be approved or declined, it will affect price of almost all altcoins, that's for sure.
Litecoin used to be quite tightly connected with bitcoin price, so maybe we will see some more major change after this date. :)

@bitcoinlitcoinbtcltc
LTC is still here after all this years, price is pegged to dollar it seems so stop talking negative about LTC evidence are clear, ltc is less volatile than other coins including BTC. And once you were big supporter your bitcoin talk name is best proof.
What happened to you dude? ;D

Then thats a good news. We can buy cheaper litecoins. Litecoin still a good altcoin. I've been watching this altcoin for a long time. And im gonna say that this altcoin is worth to buy and keep for a long time. Unlike any new altcoins in the market. Litecoin is trusted and tested for many years. Price drop is really normal. Litecoin is strong. It will pump again soon.

I agree with this. I've seen posts years ago about litecoin being dead. And yet look at casinos nowadays. Sometimes they have their own official coins but the famous altcoins are litecoin, dogecoin and monero. I think it means that none of these is dead and furthermore they are likely to grow in price. By the way, I've been thinking that the most famous casinos can actually influence alts' price in a great way, since if they offer some coins in their casinos, the interest (and thus the price) grows.

And investing in an ICO which can turn to a scam, is better solution than LTC, which is neither premin neither ICO. Who is crazy here?  Many reasons to exist and you are not daily trader so you don't have clue how you can use it for earnings.

the altcoin scene is massively different compared to 2013. more coins, more big players, more pumps, more scum. bitcoin itself is not behaving the way it did back then either. anyone betting on any coin because of past performance is nuts.

In my view litecoin will be extinct by itself, because since yesterday until today the price is getting low and declining, I think there is the possibility of the developer to go for no apparent reason, so that large investors dump all litecoin and so prices are lower than the previous year. 8)

I don't see it declining further, but I think that the price is recovering slowly and is sure to get its fate back shining in the next few days, after bitcoin gets settled down and I see it very soon, not more than a week after this crazipulation gets ended.

It seems like staff and developers behind litecoin, all of them hang on this coin. This coin was crashed many times, also at the end of 2016 this crash was slowed by promise of fast segwit activation but they weren't able to attract new investors in litecoin. This coin is 5th in market cap but that doesn't make any sense with the situation we see now. Despite many facts, every website which accept altcoin payments, first is litecoin here and people behind litecoin are simply wasting such a good situation. They can to rise this coin but it's like dead.

it is worth $4+ right now and that is already a nice rise compared to most of the other altcoins that had gone way down because of bitcoin price rise.

but yeah i agree that litecoin is disappointing this days because all other altcoins have had a pump but it. but this can mean a longer accumulation phase and even a bigger pump.

I believe Litecoin could make a comeback, i know it hasn't changed in a while but the price still hasn't declined (it even rose quite steadily over the last couple of years), it's also quite popular in China, and the technology is also really good. With the establishment of the Litecoin Foundation and better marketing, we could really see it rise back to 0.01BTC, if not higher. I for one invested only some money i don't need back right away so i'm hodling for at least 2017.

All of you FUD shitters should watch this video with Mr. Charlie Lee himself and buy some Litecoin afterwards.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M5RVc0Co0M (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5M5RVc0Co0M)

LTC has it's niche besides BTC. It will become the more agile and better managed little brother of Bitcoin.
It's trust and reputation is flawless. Vendors will quickly offer it alongside with Bitcoin, because transactions will be faster and cheaper (= more profit).

Litecoin has been undervalued for years now.
Everyone who doesn't have at least some LTC in his portfolio is clearly heading into some huge FOMO very soon.

I fully agree. Cryptocurrencies remain to be one of the most unexpected and unpredictable kind of thing. And in this world, I find out that sometimes listening to some idiots can cost us some money. Litecoin is now very much alive and it has many good people behind it...and it has a face in the person of its founder. I am sure that OP was just testing the waters if there are some fish who is willing to bite his feet lol. Anyway, hope that Litecoin can soon fulfill its own nice potential as the silver to the Bitcoin as the gold. :)
