Title: [ANN] Online ETH Faucet
Post by: TheHellBoyHB on February 21, 2017, 07:00:57 PM
I created a new faucet : ethonline . tk (I can't add faucet link)

Virus Total Scan : https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/9783f9f2b492fb3a57a2e0e8dd0a668665706375088663196c80fe4165f8604b/analysis/1487703763/ (https://www.virustotal.com/en/url/9783f9f2b492fb3a57a2e0e8dd0a668665706375088663196c80fe4165f8604b/analysis/1487703763/)

This is my first faucet so any advice would be useful. I will try to keep it to the maximum I can, after I get an idea about much the ad-networks will pay, and try the best setting then.

I hope you all will help me and use it, and give your opinions.

Please know that the faucet start working just today, so it is fresh. I'll be making regular changes to it.
Some of the planned updates are:
  • I will try to use User Opinions (as much as I can)
  • I am looking for some advertisers, right now, i don't have one, but I hope someone to be interested

Min time between claims: 66 min and 33 sec to show Claim Button

If you have any suggestions/request, please feel free to so here. Though I can't guarantee to fulfill every request, but I sure will consider it seriously and try my best to deliver, if possible.

Lastly, once again I ask you all to visit it, and support it.
I hope you ignore my bad English(I am not a native English speaker).  :P  :P

Thank you, in advance.

update 22 February :

  • I've changed the faucet design with a new one (Thanks to PWNED)
  • I've changed the faucet script from simple-faucet to faucet in a box r69
  • I've changed the timer : 1 min between claims and 20 sec to show the Claim Button

That's all, for people having 500 Error, just reload page, my web hoster is a little bit crapy (Yeah, I'm using a free hoster).
I've check for MySQL error, I didn't saw anything but I will check further.

update 23 February :

  • Change the format to Gwei format (1 Gwei = 0.000000001)
  • At payout, show ETH from now on, not XPM

Working fine for me.
I think you should work on layout of your faucet and yes I do not see claim button anywhere,I don't have epay account hence I didn't try to make claim though

Funny question, but it wouldn't work. If it's all client side, I assume ads wont generate income (not sure tho, this could be an interesting concept). With "online" he probably means, that his site is live = online, not offline in development anymore?

Free domains don't look so attractive you might want to get a premium domain for a professional look and more faucet users, all the best.

sugestion for you, if you want interest visitor youre visit youre site you can use Top level domain is paid domain not free domain
because visitor can think , you can't buy domain, so you can't pay in youre faucet site

I was testing faucet for a while but showing error with mysql database.

I personally check faucet. It is a general faucet but currently not working.

I would like to recommend you design of faucet, I have personally made for my altcoin and bitcoin faucet.

Can be check at Faucet.bitgold.co.in

Better customization for faucet can give more productivity and earnings too.

Nothing special, just a marketing thing. Newbies would think that something that it is online it's easier and lighter to use.

I will try to find something cheap and change it. I'm not a native English speaker, but i think I can handle the post alone.

Yea, but Google dosen't likes faucets. I think I will change to Leadbolt, and see how it's going to work.

I try to design something, change it and see what's going to happen. MySQL Error ? Hmm, something new, I will look up about it (after all, I check the faucet before posting here).

Thank you all for your interest and helping.  :) :)

Will test it, have got the error 500 a few times already and it has locked me out for 5 mins for multiple claims as I had to keep refreshing.

Nice to see instantly paying Ethereum faucet. Claimed 0.00000100 ethereum from first claim to my ePay account. But after claim it was written that I claimed 100 satoshi. I think it's a bit confusing. Can you change it to Ethereum?

I've changed it to Gwei format, I hope now is less confusing.

Hmm, I deleted the .htaccess file, try now, maybe works.

P.S I only tested it with ETH address, I will try with an Epay account and see what is going to happen.
