Google has blacklisted the entire website of naturalnews.com, a popular alternative news site (mainly on health).

Try the following search on Google yourself:
site:naturalnews.com

It turns up no results.

This is despite naturalnews having over 100,000 pages and being one of the highest ranked alternative news sites.

Google, as the standard in search engines, should not be blocking legal websites.

The reason may be it has no unique content or just a autoblog

Because the Big G believes that the public should not have access to investigative journalism posted in naturalnews.com. In short. Internet Censorship.

Has google released anything official stating why they did this? the owners of Natural news seem to think they were blacklisted because they support most of Trump's policies and that they run trump.news but im waiting to see if google says anything about this

Yup, it's not showing in the search results. When Google do stuff like this, do they post the actual reasons or do they just take out the site, goodbye and thank you?  Anyway, seems they switched to natural.news instead. Let's see if Google will also try to delist that.

I don't understand why Google has been censorship this website. I'm sure Google
will received a lot of negative publicity similar when they blocklist Edward Snowden
came out with his revelations. Eventhough a lot of individual doesn't like the content
of naturalnews but putting a censor by Google is like about information suppression.

There must be a reason why it was blocked, if it was even blocked entirely. Of course sometimes, some pages need to be filtered depending on its contents. Some spread fake information which will do damage to people using google odf course. A lot of people rely on google for a lot of things and i think google feels responsible to provide dependable results.

Yea this is nothing new when it comes to big internet search providers like google that only want people to see the world in one way by a couple news sources and the news sources which they deem are good for the public to be seeing, if they don't fit this narrative like naturalnews doesn't they're going to be blocked so less and less people find the site.

Kind of sad to see this in the world, but this is what happens when one company controls a disgusting portion of internet searches conducted in our lives today.


I feel this is the reason for investigative journalism to be dying today based on the pure fact that these companies don't want it to occur, whens the last time anyone has seen GOOD and truthful investigative journalism happening? The newest investigative journalism is from sources like WikiLeaks which are actually leaking because the MSM (Main Stream Media) won't go ahead and show the people what's going on.

Google has been suspicious of some censoring considering the whole election thing in US so it's nothing unusual from google to be censoring stuff.
