Title: What is WAVES' condition?
Post by: SpaceBTC on February 23, 2017, 05:09:19 PM
I've been very interested in WAVES this November, but it seems that the coin's userbase is not as active as it was back then.
Is there a chance of another upturn, in your opinion, or is it dead in the water?

No they are still developing, everytime I check their video on youtube they say next week or so :D There are some delays but they are working on it and have money. But market is not too receptive it seems.

We can only wait and believe the promises.
Unfortunately, at this stage, there are delays.

What is the point of investing in waves currency? My understanding is that it is like ripple, a token in the backend that all other assets can be priced in, and which can be used to facilitate exchange, including fiat currencies. But if that is the case, then where is the value in the token? Plus, if it it is cheaper for me to make my exchange using ripple (or using any other exchange), then the value of waves goes down.

If a wave was a share in ownership in the platform (eg, iconomi), then I could see investing in it, but waves is distinct from the waves platform. And any currency can be used to transact on the waves platform, including bitcoin, ethereum, etc.

Waiting for some of its biggest developments. Dunno if the price moves in this bloody market or not, but I'm certain waves will be big in the next bull market.

I’m hoping for the waves to develop fast as well. Holding the waves since very long and can’t wait anymore for them to launch new advances and upturn the price of waves. First time I thought that it will bit the prices of ethereum but nothing like that is happening and it’s still below average. Hope that it will gain popularity and will keep the user base more than enough to achieve good prices.
