We all know what happens next right?


<insert name of exchange here> has been "hacked" all funds were lost!

We see lots of butthurt bears & shorters who will be predicting dumps & the end of bitcoin.

Just to keep this way and not to see 2014 again.

The same thing that was predicted early last month when we witnessed such surge and nothing of that nature really happened but we had something else though, investigation from by Chinese authorities that we had to go down to the $800s but hopefully we don't get to witness that this time again and the price can be sustained to a large extent for everyone's benefit.

Congratulations guys and gals. Bitcoin is almost getting to $10k like some of you wanted.

$10k would be awesome price, but i don't think we'll see that kinda price soon. what we're going to see soon is pump to $1500+.

There's got to be hurt coming.

After breaking the All Time High
Lets surpass that next target which is 2000$
Congratulations to those people who have patience to hold their bitcoin and wait for this moment to happen and also those people who have guts to buy bitcoins even though they are not sure if they will earn money. Keep up the good work people.

All time highs while the network is under stress?  I don't get it!  Might this new all time high be related to the upcoming ETF decision (http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/02/06/sec-faces-march-11-deadline-bitcoin-etf-decision/), or is there something else that's driving this trend?  Hasn't the network been undergoing some extreme stress lately?  I feel a bull trap!

its too soon to said that we can reach $10k fast because we need to break barrier of $2xxx before we can reach the next price and of course we need waiting for the moment its come but as many of us is believe that bitcoin price soon will break the barrier, so before we increase more, we need to reach $1200 first and if we can break in short time, then the chance to reach $1500 is not too long before we reach $2xxx.

Keep holding still, the rise is not yet finished. We are still few days away from the ETF, Price may still get way higher.

Lol that would be awesome but let us watch Bitcoin breaks $1200  barriers and so on.  It is still a long way for bitcoin to reach such price.  Anyway, great news there grats to all the Bulls breaking the ATH barrier.  Let us see where this trend bring Bitcoin's price.

Just a start as there is still room for rise, I'd suggest to build a wall for $1250+ from now because tomorrow when you wake up you might see that you missed the chance :D

It maybe or not as people trigger to do just like others did, if someone that has big portion of bitcoin start to sell because of the regulations regarding bitcoin doesn't going so well as expected. Bitcoin volume on exchanges has increased significantly in last few days, they may wait for ETF decision, but yes we know what will happen next as the cycle always ended to: up and down.

We have to remember that trading on major chinise exchanges is fake,and thay are producing fake price
but lets see where it will goes in coming days

Yes that's right, we should not never look back at things which is not good and not helpful. Lets continue for what we are believing now into bitcoin it will surely there is a good thing will happen to all who keep saved bitcoin on their wallet storage.

Yeah glad to read it, and it will not get dump like 2014 again. and it seems like the bitcoin is coming with the strong body. to keep the price is stable above $1100  ;D

If it stays stable above $1000 throughout the year that's more than enough. Now it has broken the ATH. So everyone has a fear that it might fall as like 2014. If it becomes stable too doesn't affect the users but it should not fall below $1000 for our goodness. Based on ETF we can expect the things to change.

next stop is probably the price of gold.
when 1 bitcoin = 1 oz of gold, things will start to be even more interesting. i could see it pumping very quickly to 1250(current price of gold)

Ah yes. Forgot about what the price of gold was. Haven't checked since bitcoin started it's ramp up in price.
It is just amazing how fast it is reaching near gold's price of over $1200.
It can surpass that now. Anything is possible in life now, anything can be done with bitcoin now! 8)

I always thought the ATH was higher than just $116X, but I guess I'm wrong. It could have just been for a little bit of time that it was clocked somewhere around $1.8k, but I don't know for sure and I have no idea if I would be able to show some real numbers for all of that.

Good to see. This most recent rally has been insane to watch, now I'm just hoping we get a bit more of a dip and I can grab a bit more before it takes off.

Great news, what is more amazing is that we did it without Chinese exchanges leading the way!

Now we can wait until bitcoin will break that 'fake' ATH ever listed on an exchange - IIRC it was $1242 on MtGox.
We can argue that at that time MtGox was dying and insolvent and no one ever sold bitcoin during that spike, but it still remains top price of all time.

Oh wait.... taking the inflation rate (estimated 3%) into account, the ATH should be $1163 * (1.03)^3 years = about $1270... which is about the price of 1oz gold!

So the price must go beyond $1270 before we celebrate!

We are almost there actually since seeing on the current price on preev.com we are now on $1207  bitcoins price and if the rally would still continue then would really reach out that point in no time but still we should not expect too much since crash or price decrease will happen anytime.

I think this is what everybody is dreading of it happening since the ATH was achieved.
It is one everybodies minds.

Well we finally witness new ATH i hope we can keep this maintained cuz i dont want to see price drops like back in 2014

I don't think you have to worry about a possible MtGox 2.0 scenario anymore unless something is brewing behind the scenes, but there are zero indications that are pointing at that possibility. Another benefit is that Chinese exchanges have seem to lost their role of importance. It means less possible negative aspects that people have to worry about. I think the sentiment at this point has never been this strong. I however must note that I remain conservative until the endless discussions regarding the block size increase are settled by an agreed solution.

Just you wait for the ETF, if it is approved we can another ATH breaking event.  Lots are speculating that ETF when approved, Bitcoin will really climb up to $2000 before the end of the year.  I would love to see it and happen, but we still need to patiently wait for the SEC decision on the ETF matter.

Nothing new here, almost everyone here on the forum knew this will happen eventually, and look it is happening. Second thing is that almost everyone here knows that this is not the end, bitcoin will cost much more in the future.


That is it, we are waiting 2000 $. We know that price will come in one moment sooner or later. Price is going up for some time and  that is likely to continue in the next few months. Who knows where is the end of this, I thought we will see 3 digits price again, but now I`m not so sure in that.

We wont hit 2000 dollars soon but i like optimism and confidence hoping to see this but this month or two is still to early to achieve.
