Chances are, if you are getting "residential IPs" then you will be working with hackers and dealing with illegal computer access. The only people who could provide these are individuals (routing your traffic through their PC which would be very foolish to participate in) or botnet masters that have infected other peoples PCs. Most VPN/proxy providers use commercial IP blocks as you probably know already.

this, this
and when you will get your "residential IPs" this way, you could be charged for any crime that is assigned to your name and this IP
because hacker give you  some IP and then he uses it in crimes, then police finding you first

Risky stuff, i would go for commercial IP blocks like Fortify said.

I really don't like the sound or "feel" of this thread.  VPN's and TOR make sense, but going in the other direction to get private residential IP's just doesn't sound like a plan to be discussed in here anyway.

Interesting, I've never heard of a site requiring "residential" IPs. I wonder how they determine what is and isn't residential. I suppose they probably just whitelist the netblocks of certain companies that are known to host residential customers, eh?

I don’t know where all this talk about botnets and hackers come form, some companies offer commercial ip blocks, since acquiring those is easy they are cheap, but I remember seeing some of those same companies offering residential ip but they are a lot more expensive.

You will go through all that trouble to buy legal products? Those shoes must be pretty expensive or are you buying shoes made of leather from a animal on the protective species list? The most obvious answer, would be that you are hiding this purchase from your spouse or partner, but why all the secrecy.

I checked the Urban dictionary and shoes are still shoes. ^smile^

Just download Tails and you will be fine. ^hmf^

If you want your own personal IP, you could talk to your ISP about that. Of course, that would cost you. But for IPs from other people, try and search up VPN where they give you false IPs from around the world. Some are free, some requires a fee.

Many VPN plugins are available in Google search. Just need to add as plug in to his chrome browser to have a proxy IP for his browser. If you are looking VPN for a project. Please try Cisco any connect secure mobility client. It will work with the tokens.

Dont listen to these two users they have no idea what they are talking about. I dont see bow they are legendary members but ok.

Anyway. Residential IPs are the legit ones you two got it the wrong way around you also pulling stuff out your arse.
Data center IPS are the ones usually used by people with bad intentions but that ia not to say it cannot be used for good intentions all I AK saying oa that almost all users wanting to spam or get around things to do bad things will use data center IPS. It doesnt mean data cnetre IPS are bad but some site watch them.  Residential IPS are considered more legit by sites. You can get one from your ISP just phone them.

People actually pay for a bot that buys shoes? How much demand is there for such a bot?
