Title: What Bitcoin Casino 'Scams' to Look Out For?
Post by: dejames on February 26, 2017, 10:05:02 PM
What are some of the scams in bitcoin casinos to look out for? Whether they will allow us to easily withdraw the funds, whether there are exorbitant fees and whether the casino games are fair and random? What else should we be vigilant about?

Anything to do with kyc or aml so to withdraw your winnings is a complete and pure scam once they get you to deposit on to their site.
That is the sole reason why people use bitcoin to gamble in the first place.
To have your anonymity intact! That is something these ceos at these casinos do not seem to comprend and everyone should stay the heck away from them if you see them even asking you to submit documents.
Then they will have you by the balls and over a barrel ready to drill you up your ass if you even win 5mbtc from them. They will not want to you give it to you even if you win it back at all odds against you to even get back a dime back from them. They see it as cutting into their bottom line.
So watch yourself because these scum sites on the internet will be looking to kick and kill you if they can to just get a $1 from you.

Some bitcoin dice sites that are considered scams are gooddice, 999dice and betcoin.tm. Be vigilant about the feedback/reviews of the players to see if the casino is doing some scammy actions on their players.

Don't just bet without taking a little effort to know the site very well, read the gambler's feedback before depositing any amount of money if you do not want it to be gone like a bubble. Actually there are new sites but if I were you, I would not explore the new one to gamble, just bet on a well established gambling sites. Normally, scam sites does not release our winnings especially if it's a considerable amount of money.

What are some of the scams in bitcoin casinos to look out for?

Most of them are in the scam accusations board and the experience of other gamblers that aren't paid by them is enough to tell that they are scam.

Whether they will allow us to easily withdraw the funds, whether there are exorbitant fees and whether the casino games are fair and random? What else should we be vigilant about?

You will know if a casino is fair to us by determining their games and fees and with the withdrawal process, it's the same thing as I stated above.

You've pretty much listed everything you need to be careful of but I will like to add tgat even if holy beings(Angels) were to be running it you shouldn't throw caution to the winds. You must be your own arbiter and watch to see everything through , don't just lay blames on the casinos after you realized you've been cheated because you had a part to play. They are there for business just like you so everyone should know his responsibilities.

Actually all of those scammy gambling sites does have a thread on scam accusations board since we could able to spot all those possible scammings sites because of the issues that they are attached to.

- Hidden terms & condition and wagering requirement for cashing out bonus.
- House edge
- Proof of casino's bankroll

etc are the few things that should be considered along with provably fair games and instant withdraw/deposit system.

They commit scams to obtain money, certainly will not be easy for you to make withdrawals, they will make you as you request a withdrawal.

Just always check the scam hunters throughout the forum and read everyone's review with a particular casino so that you know what's happening to them. It looks like there are a lot of it on the list and for sure they will be more to come out and that will be hunted by good guys here. Learn to be aware and always find proofs of payment.

Provably fair I suppose. Make sure its implemented properly. Few years back a major casino was caught for skipping nonces even though they have a provably fair algorithm all along. Even recently a Blackjack scam was discovered for live gambling rooms.

I am not familiar with that story, which major casino cheated provably fair system before?

The only case of exploiting provably fair system in a casino which is still operational today is 999dice.

In the past I know that some casinos committed an exit scams. Most recently - DaDice.
It all started when they refused to show their cold wallet address. Details:

Let's start by the severity of the scams. (List sorted in order)
1.Betcoin.ag
2.bitcasino.io
3.veascasino.io
4.cloudbet [scam-in-progress]
5.Fortunejack [takes light years to reply or process withdrawals]

You can either surrender on these sites or watch yourself die slowly by losing your patience for the support to reply.

There are casino's that aren't well known but they are fairly operating and does have good proofs of payment. Another thing is that a site looks shady if there are tons of complain from its gamblers. And not all here that has signature campaign are legit, there are some that still manage to scam people and still keep on promoting.

Provably fair Blackjack can be scammed in someways if you don't change your seed during the first time you play at a site. They can be changing your seed intiially to make you lose more. So even though it would be provably fair, the seeds can be rigged prior.

What are some of the scams in bitcoin casinos to look out for? Whether they will allow us to easily withdraw the funds, whether there are exorbitant fees and whether the casino games are fair and random? What else should we be vigilant about?

i think its difficult to say that one bitcoin casinos is a scam if that site is new site but we only know by reviews from other people about the site and from that reviews, if something bad happen we can avoid to play in that sites. but i think there is a sites that have big list bitcoin casino that already scam people. for the old site, there is no guarantee to them if in any case, they scam people and run away with the people's money. but in my opinion, to know that one site is getting scam is by making a withdraw but the process could take a longer than usual and if we asked them, they will said its normal process and i think this is a sign that the site is getting scam and we need to be careful with this.
