Title: [GUIminer] Withdrawing BTC issue.
Post by: meh on June 16, 2011, 09:55:02 PM
I've been mining for a short while now, and I accumulated 0.1 BTC. I decided that it was time to press 'Withdraw'. I did, however, the BTC hasn't arrived at my address yet, and it has been over 6 hours. I'm using Deepbit, and it has the transfer recorded. Am I not waiting long enough, or did I get screwed? Or something else? I'm grateful for any help.

Does you bitcoin client have the full blockchain downloaded? 131309 is the last one by the time I'm writing this.
Also check deepbit.net for the transfer (edit: OK you did that already). I'm using neither deepbit nor GUIminer but that's what I can think of.

Do you get any results if you search for your address on http://blockexplorer.com (http://blockexplorer.com)?

At the moment, it has downloaded 122,000 blocks, and rising steadily. And yes, I get results.

You'll see the transaction as soon as your client is catching up with the last 6 or so hours.
