Hello everyone,

I'm happy to introduce you to Ethlance (http://ethlance.com (http://ethlance.com)). It is first platform for freelancers and employers running entirely on Ethereum blockchain. We take absolutely no cut from transactions between freelancers and employers. All payments are made in Ether. For signing up you'll need to have installed chrome extension MetaMask (https://metamask.io/) to interact with Ethereum blockchain. We've launched just very recently, but there's many more jobs to come, stay tuned!

So whether you're employer or job seeker don't hesitate to sign up, it's all for free except small Ethereum gas fees, which are needed to broadcast your data into a blockchain.

There's no special token for the platform at the moment. The token sale will be in few months. Our token will be used to bid for top positions in search for certain skills, for both freelancers and job offerings. Payments between freelancers and employers will still be in Ether, not the token. The token will of course be freely tradable, therefore it has value to hold even if you're not interested in bidding to top positions. As site gets more audience, token will naturally gain on value. Prior token sale, we'll have whitepaper ready with all details you'll need to know. Our platform will have 0% service fees forever.

yes please more details??? if this could resolve many issues between the job seekers and those trying to fill a position with valid employees then i would certainly have to endorse this! i myself have worked in way too many parts of the world and have seen some truly bad practices of hiring employees in several of them! if this could help even just a little bit i would have to say im all in!

Target audience of Chronobank is rather different than ours. They're more interested in offline jobs, we are more focused in online remote jobs. They have more complex system of payments in "LH" token, we use just plain Ether. Their idea is different in many ways. But most importantly our platform is already live, fully functional, compared to other platforms.

How do u monetize ur platform if ure not charging fees for ur services? Oh let me guess, Papa Parlante from facebook Association of Ignorants funded the rollout of ur $20 site, and now ure bound to pay him dividends for his interest in ur utopian platform. Keep going. Papa will be throwing rocks at u when u miss the first payment deadline.

Awesome idea, congrats! :) I have worked for 7-8 years as freelancer on scriptlance (now owned by freelancer), this sites can be very helpful for crypto world, and not only, if used correctly.. Good job here! I will try to help by posting an article/review on my blog, hope that can help a bit with the start.

Sounds good except the reason freelancing sites take such big cuts - other than being greedy - is to afford aiding people using their service.

What if there's a disagreement regarding the work that was required for a job, who will investigate the dispute?

These services can't run by themselves without supervision.

Mind to post that in the OP? I see the details on ur site but cant stay there for longer than 1 second as I feel that Papa Parlante tracks my IP. What would happen to ur site if Papa shuts down the source of funding? So far u have received around 13 dollars from him, do u think thats enough to keep ur site up for anoher 4 years? Dont trust what Papa is saying, he is a criminal and plaintiff in a civil action lawsuit against facebook, all signs are that hes not that kind of person who u should trust.

Why another "work" coin?

Chronobank, ProProfi, Career, Craftcoin, Ethlance,..., ... ,...

With this trend a "shitcoin" will be literally "backed" by people actually taking a crap... Then a dump.

Good comment. Yes, since we don't take any cut, we don't provide anyone to investigate a dispute. To prevent disputes, freelancers on our platform are allowed to request partial payments as they progress with their work. We encourage users to be paid continuously, rather than after entire job is done. Frequency of payments is up to users, since transaction fees are low (compared to fiat money global transactions), this should be no problem. Once an employer and freelancer establish trust relationship, they will make payments in "bigger chunks". Other than that, there are other indicators to prevent disputes such as reputation or seeing employer's wallet balance.

We don't really use any "work" coin. People get paid for their work in Ether. Token we'll have will be used just for advertising. Other than that, none of job platforms on blockchain went mainstream yet, so we don't see reason why not to try multiple approaches. All projects you mentioned are significantly different.

Your idea is cool, there are so many bitcoin freelancer websites, it is time to give ETH one, yeah, we can make ETH from your platform, kudos.
