If you're looking to mine for profit you'll have to make a rather large investment in these ASICs, so make sure you do the proper calculations first. If you're just mining for fun you can use a USB miner or an old ASIC, it's cheaper but you won't make money mining with them.

or you can use another kinda of miner to mine scrypt or x11 and convert in bitcoin, while this isn't exactly bitcoin mining, it's more effective and has a better roi, especially x11 asic all this must be done only with proper electricity, which you need to tell first, so we can suggest better Title: Re: hardware that is good for mining? There's a bunch of different elements that makes hardware good or bad. Most of them depend depends on your situation and you haven't listed any details. You should mainly look at where you live (import taxes and what's available you), how much your electricity costs, size of the operation (budget). Title: Re: hardware that is good for mining? I'm thinkig of buying a couple... aren't they the bst in this scene? the warranty is the same as the other asic product or better, and reliability also the avalon as 1/2 of the speed but 2/3 of the consumption, not so efficient as the s9, yeah it cost you less, but efficiency make the miner last longer Title: Re: hardware that is good for mining? You could go to sidehack and grab a USB stick it will mine small amount. Pretty much the smallest . For about 30 bucks . Say it does 24gb uses under 10 watts. Or you could buy an Avalon 741 for. Around 900 bucks. It does 7100 gb uses around 1100 watts. This is new gear that is reliable. You could buy ant miner s9 ant miner r4 ant miner t9 All from bitmain. The s9 and r4 break a lot. The t9 seems to work better |
