Title: Re: 105 satoshi/byte unconfirmed for 4 hours
Post by: Arcteryx on March 02, 2017, 09:08:14 PM
I had one yesterday at 140 sats/B and it tool longer than the estimated time to transact and receive 1 confirmation. It took over an hour. So nothing new or surprising with that.
I think I remember seeing a post that there still are unconfirmed transactions at still 60k so yours in queue.
So I wouldn't be too concerned about it being confirmed any time soon.

0.0002 btc is very low fee for 0.5 btc transactions. I doubt that fee won't be recomended by blockchain. Well, it will be confirmed with that fee but it will take more time. You can use viabtc transaction accelerator -> https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ --  for that, as I know that works and try, you won't loose anything. If your fee would be 0.002 than that transaction would be quickly confirmed.

And yes. I have just got 1 confirmation. From now things should go better. Anyway i think it took long time to receive 1 confirmation. In past i know that 0.0002btc was a big fee with pretty fast confirmation
So it took you 4.5 hours to get 1 confirmation?
How much did you apply to the miner's fee (transaction charge/fee) using this viabtc way to accelerate the transaction quicker?
Didn't know if this way actually worked that quick or not. :-\

you don't have to pay extra miners fee to viabtc for them to accept your transaction, you just enter the transaction ID on their site and answer the captcha check and they will include your transaction if they find a block.

It's a shame even Viabtc is past their maximum in terms of how much they can accept for transactions. Best bet for a quick confirmation is to set up your own node- costs little and gets you quick txs.
