Title: In what to invest $2k?
Post by: gondel on March 03, 2017, 01:56:53 PM
Hi,
Not sure if it is for this toipc, please move it if needed. As the title says, I want to put $2k in something new, not buying coins, I have them in btc. What can be the best ROI and most secure way?
What you will do if you have additional 2k?
Thanks

This would probably be more relevant in the reading discussion sub.
Had you asked this question earlier I'd have advised you to buy Snap shares which you could have flipped at a nice profit using leverage.
Does anyone know of any trading sites that accept BTC as a payment method?

Hi, I did not ask that before, never heard of Snap before neither. Regarding trading sites, I know two binary regulated platforms who are accepting it

I would say it should be in economy, your list above is for passive investments, though the OP didn't specified his area of interest. I like ICO investment and I believe we are just scratching the surface, we need better manage exchanges than the current ones we have but ICOs has proven to be a solid investment for me

Buy some altcoins and wait for it until its price rise up and sell it away . Save some of them in bank and use them in mutual fund investment schemes .but be careful in investing because these are subject to market risk .plz read all the documents and then invest in it.

Why not try to hold it out? The price of bitcoin is looking good nowadays after the dump. We know that when there's a dump.

Next thing that will happen with the price is pump. It is why that's why I'd been doing and I can say that you are very secure with it.

You don't have to have tons of workload for it.

I will invest that to a trusted casino and will just let it go with the flow there and for the security I'll choose the legit and trust ones. And if there are still remaining coins from it, I'll just hold it out or if there are some ICO's that has the potential and trusted people behind it, I won't hesitate to join that ICO, it's effective but the security in ICO's are not guaranteed.

Theirs a Lot of trusted Casino out there but can you truly trust your 2k$ at them? that amount is huge and actually we can start to build up some offline business with it and earn more without getting worried on whatwill happen to our budget since we can managed and see how our money grows physically while in online investment, We can get more risk beneath on our ass since mostly the one who is running for now is those scam site and that makes us turn to shit if things got worse if we invest at them. And although there's a trusted casino running out there but still investing such huge money at them is not a good idea.

I know you have said not bitcoin but if it was my money to invest i would be waiting until after the ETF gets turned down and then buying more bitcoin.  But another option is to invest it in ARKK (Ark investments) which is a US ETF investing in disruptive technologies including bitcoin.

Yes it is better to buy and hold. Make up your own mind about what you do with your own bitcoins. Take the thoughts of people, who have a vested interest in the value of something rising.

well obviously if i ever have 2K fiat additional, i buy bitcoin with it. specially these days that there were a big dip and a good opportunity for buying cheap coins. and i have done that so far without hesitation and my amounts are even more now.

but if you want you can also check out mining. of course mining altcoins is what i am talking about. you can buy a strong system with a good GPU and have at it to make some profit. although you should check your electricity cost first.

If you have it in the Bitcoins then why are you thinking about other investments? Hold them and try to trade as much as you can. The fluctuating rates will make you good profit if you have practised trading from some time.

If Bitcoin is not your alternative as you have them already invested in it, and really looking for something else, then I think that Silver is the best commodity to invest in if you are thinking for long term profits, as it is booming steadily and can probably go more and more higher due to the increasing demand because of the looks it has that are very near to that of Platinum, which not everyone can afford but only few.

I'd definetly invest that money for a poloniex trading bot (Gunbot), because it brings steady profits. I think out of all investment options this brings best ROI the most secure way.

If you don't like the idea of a trading bot however, other options you have are investing in trusted sites' dice bankrolls. This brings much smaller ROI, but is as secure.

I would also suggest to invest in Poloniex trading not. It really brings steady profit, you just need to have little knowledge of it and it's definitely better than other things and much safer.

Very well answer - I think. If you are in europe - buy silver without VAT: https://www.celticgold.eu/1-unze-silbermuenzen.html

If you don't want to buy a coin then you can try to rely on lending section and start up your own lending service though this is risky.

What can be the best ROI and most secure way?

I can only think of the most secure way is just letting your capital at your own wallet.

What you will do if you have additional 2k?
Thanks

If do have this amount then I will diversify it will trading, holding and with bankroll casino's.

well there are lots of different investment you can make to make profit. and it is very different in different countries and depends on you and what you can do. for example you can invest 2K$ in a small business by starting it on your own or if you have a friend or someone who you trust and start a small business with them. in many places this can be very profitable.
there are many people who invest in stocks, commodities like gold and other precious metals. some go into Forex, some buy dollar in my country and trade it off charts....
I would personally buy more bitcoin though and also do some altcoin trading on the side.

I think the best way to invest 2k is to invest into small business, I had a friend who had an idea of opening a gaming store in our town, and he needed some money we agreed that I give him some money probably 2.5k and I get 50% of what he earns monthly, and so far I have been earning 1k every month while sitting in my house doing nothing.

Invest that $2k in ethereums and then try to play with it using trading because the price had experience a pump and that is one of the reason why you should trading because you can take advantage to that kind of scenario. If you are a newbie then try to just become a long term investor while you still studying the market. Don't be greedy to play with that $2k because that is a huge money for other people like me. So handle it with care.

well right now i am planning on purchasing a house for myself in a very short time (like the following couple of months) so if i had an additional $2K i would add it to my capital to be able to increase my options by a little bit.

and it is kind of an investment to buy a house right now. i will have a home most important of all and also i plan on buying it in an up and coming neighborhood so the price will rise in the future too.

I mean I think the safest and the best way to invest your money is bitcoin you literally earn by doing nothing but saving it. If you want you can invest in mining it yourself or maybe some really trusted cloud mining site or you can just invest in some gambling site's bankroll.

Cloud mining sites are not trust-able anymore and you will be loosing your investment in long run if you choose to invest in those sites and mining is affordable only if the cost of electricity is cheaper in your country as it also requires capital for buying mining equipments which can be an costly affair.

There is no real guaranteed way to profit on your coins.

If you want profit on your coins, be prepared to lose it all. That should be the sort of mentality you have, instead of being 100% confident in your investments.

I'd say that finding a proven method that involves fiat currency usually goes well with bitcoin. For example there are a lot of buy fiat with low fees and sell them with high fees opportunities around.

Buying fiat at low fees and selling them doesn't make any sense as he need to wait for a long time to make profits and If I would be having $2k for making an investment then I would surely invest them in multiple altcoins and start the trades as if price pumps then it can bring huge profits for me.

I think op's majority is not buying any altcoin or bitcoins and i think $2k honestly it is a large number of bitcoin that i never hold in my wallet..
I think he can invest it in some gambling site and test in multiple gambling investment test for 1 to 2 months if they are not profiting paused your investment and invest it to other and if you earn and make profiting stay and gain profit every week or monthly.
The other part is to invest your money to your own website build an authority website until you can have a website that can receive traffic daily..  and monetize and earn money or bitcoin depends if what network for monetizing you are using if they are paying on bitcoin or other payment processor..
This is just what i am doing every time i have earn i buy more website just for study purposes doing backlinks and seo how to rank a keyword and hope to monetize it and earn good amount of profit since i am earn from few networks already i just scaling up it until i can make more than 20 or more website that rank in good that someday  i can sell it for a good price or i can monetize it in separated niche. .

$2k for me would go to bitcoin if it's not where it's at right now. Or just to save myself from potential crashes and dumps. I would get that $2k into somewhere else, say another crypto of some sort and other ventures like local investment that you can keep track of easily. It's not only bitcoin that can be invested to right now. It's 2017 anyways.

Buy altcoins with higher volume and which are in existence since decent time period and keep a close watch on price movement as altcoin market involves major pumps and dumps and if you can manage to take advantage of it then you can expect some good returns on your investments.

I don't think so there is something new in our community and the everyday new coin was coming, and i guess just keep your money on bitcoin if you're not wanna investing on the coin. But you can try to look at the project development section. Most of the investment place are altcoin.

Since we are here in a cryptocurrency forum, this is good idea. At least investing the to 10 rank in http://coinmarketcap.com  ranking. This is a good way to  diversify your porfofolio in cryptocurrency holdings. Also, you can invest in traditional business if you want or to own a  paper assets / stock trading as part of diversification.

You are looking for a secure way, well I can recommend not to trade it. Investing in online casino is IMO the most secure way of growing your money.
By looking at a secure investment, that means the growth is not fast but consistent and based on my experience I can only get that with casino's investing. Check this thread out, he has a good return so far.. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1585408.0

I will suggest to not to invest the whole in the particular thing/project because in this virtual world of money anything may happen at any time , so we need to think and do our work wisely so that we always got profit with very less risk .
I will suggest to invest in the altcoins lending . I mean transfer you bitcoin in the Poloniex like exchange and  buy some dash like popular altcoins and offer your altcoin or bitcoin at the rent at your desired interest rate .

I will suggest you to invest in the altcoins to make more chances to increase your profit . No doubts that most of the investment are risky and always have risk to scam . So here It will be more better that you should invest your bitcoin in 10-20 more popular altcoins to make sure profit and second advice is not to invest all of your bitcoin for a single altcoin .
In this way if your luck is good then you will surely get 20-30% profit with your bitcoin .

the question is whether you want to go the easy route or the hard route and how much profit you want.
the easy and lazy way is to just buy bitcoin with $2K and holding it for a couple of years and enjoying the profit.
the medium hard way is to start trading, lending and some investments if you found a legit place.
the hard way which can give you the most amount of profit is to start your own business. sit down and think about what you can do and what can be profitable if you do it. look at what is missing from the world you live in and try to offer that as a service and make money from it. it would be a long and hard way but if you come up with a good idea you can really make large amount of money in no time.

very difficult to find a good investment besides altcoin for now. most sites HYIP scam or something ends. to invest $ 2k I think it's really suitable for altcoin. it might ROI within days or weeks if you're good at playing trading, and will probably ROI in a few months if you invest it in altcoin be launched.

Are you sure that altcoins investment will be safer and profitable all the times ? I am also having some good experience with altcoin investments still I am afraid to recommend altcoins here for new people.
Because it would be hard for most of the people to find out will concept based altcoins for investment purposes. They might get struck with any of bump and dump coins too.

See as you have that amount in bitcoin , i would suggest you to buy other crypto currencies with that money.
As bitcoin is also a crypto currency and once was very cheap. So you can buy crypto currencies like
Ethereum (ETH)  or monero (XMR). Since they have a scope of getting famous.
So i would suggest you to buy these crypto currencies as one day even they can have prices similar to that of bitcoin currently.

I suggest you to ,
Invest them on shares,
if you know how the share market works.
You can also invest on other crypto currencies ,
Like Shield, Ethereum etc . It might be a good option as,
their prices may rise like bitcoins.
But I can't guarantee you that they will rise in the same way and rate like that of bitcoins.

$2k is a good amount to invest on and if i have that money to put on i would choose to diversify it on both gambling house bankroll and some of the amount would be used on trading. These are the thing comes through my mind when i do have plan on investing which is really a wise thing to do compared on wasting it on scam sites and on playing gambling.

$2,000 capital is very huge amount and you can grow it up to $10,000 within a month if you will become a good investor First buy bitcoin as much as you can, put that $2,000 in bitcoin and then buy some cheap altcoins that you may see on poloniex, because even though you didn't know how to trade altcoins and to choose what is a good coin then poloniex got your back because they filter the incoming coins very sensitively so buying coins their will be the best for you. After you buy cheap altcoins there, just hold it for a bit long time because if you do that then you will earn a lot of money.

I would not take risk on investing it anywhere else and would directly buy bitcoins with that amount and wait for the price to go higher and would sell them when its giving me enough profits and buy again when price falls in future and repeat the same cycle again and again.

Are you sure investing in altcoins will worth over time ? LTC and Dogecoins seemed a good trading options some two years back but now they are in negative growth compared to the last two years prices. I guess when new altcoins hit the market, traders will switch to them.

This way I am expecting ETH to get older. I am sure this is going to happen because new innovative altcoins will keep on coming. No one can ignore this.

No, just try to trade that amount and i think that will be worth with your time and effort and you can control your risk. Because the average trader will not lose his money in once time trade.
To buy another shares need a lot of the analyzation.

bitcoin is the investment that you should consider "long term" not altcoins.
you only trade altcoins and never hold them. take a look at litecoin for example it gets pumped and after some time it is back to the low price levels. the same goes for any other altcoins, they are not being used in the real world and only people who have them are traders and that means they will dump it as soon as they get profit.

Smart and safe decision means less but sure profit. If you aim for higher then you need to consider trading with altcoins, look what ETH did it, look now dash, there is potential in every coin, and even thou most of them are new remember that same thing happen to bitcoin, in beginning some people were saying how btc is a scam and look where is it now.
Buy 1.5 btc and put it on saving, but rest invest in several altcoins, take a chances to make good profit, cause if you don't buy on time you can regret later.

You can either have good returns (on the cost of the good amount of risk) or you will have small returns (with the assurance of safety).

I would recommend you to with middle way and invest the half portion of your capital in low-risk investment options and remaining part in high-risk option so at the end, you will have balanced risk strategy. Make sure you are further distributing the investments in smaller parts.

Agree, there are investment do really have difference in terms of risk if you want to play somehow safe then better to choose the lower risk ones and if you do really want to challenge yourself on making much more profits like trading then its your own choice.Suggestion that have been mostly mentioned above they are right most of them.

If i have 2k$, Id like to invest half of it in bitcoin. I would buy bitcoin for investment as it becomes rising each day. Ill be wiser not to invest all of money in bitcoin. So half of it, Ill just hold and sold by my btc when its already profitable.

Almost all possible investment ways have been mentioned and now we move into what he would want high risk or low risk but I think the best answer was middle. Put enough Money on high risk stuff mentioned that you are willing to lose and put the rest into directly buying bitcoin.

Bitcoin price is at a great price to buy now. I say invest $250 to buy C.A.T. and another $250 or so into it and do automatic altcoin exchange which can return on its own investment value in no time if you know what you are doing and put the rest into bitcoin.

Just don't ever fall for any kind of HYIP site or ponzi site out there. Stay away from cloud mining and other mining, even solo mining or buying your own miners. Just invest it in bitcoin itself. I really think it is priced quite low and you can probably turn a profit within the next few months.

Buying liquid, investment-grade, short-dated bonds.

Or you can just stick it into bond ETFs which are essentially baskets holding numerous bonds with variable maturities.

Want a little more risk? (110-your age), then allocate your money into stocks and bonds (ETFs), rebalance every year.

Example: if you're 20 years old, 110-20= 90. So your portfolio should be 90% stocks, 10% bonds. Then as you grow older each year, rebalance your portfolio accordingly by selling one and buying into another (good if the market is strong for the one you're selling) or simply buying more bonds to make it 11%.

Yes the best place to invest money at a moment is in bitcoin itself as price is at descent level and its affordable too so if you buy and hold it for next few years then you can make really big profits from it which may not be possible with any other investment.

I agree with you that investing in bitcoin is the best investment as of now because the price is low and it can be pump if the results of hardfork will be bad. Even though there is another type of bitcoin i think it will not be that legit threat for bitcoin because the 2nd largest mining pool already rejected bitcoin unlimited so the price of bitcoin will pump if other mining pools or exchangers also reject the BTU.

Certainly, it won't affect bitcoin's market negatively. It can give also postive effect on bitcoin's market perhaps since btu is currently a cryptocoin. However without btu, crypto currency is good then. It would be better if its developer just focus more on developing bitcoin and provide more support to crypto currency exchanger.

Hi,
Not sure if it is for this toipc, please move it if needed. As the title says, I want to put $2k in something new, not buying coins, I have them in btc. What can be the best ROI and most secure way?
What you will do if you have additional 2k?
Thanks
If you are asking now, much better in my opinion to invest it in the top 10 altcoin in the coinmarketcap.com then hold, also buy some bitcoin  and hold it for 2 or 3years that's much better for you to get your profit after those years of waiting.

I would recommend you at all to invest in top 10 altcoin as if you see most of price increase is basically because of the pump dump strategy by investors. The proof is just see dash the price was literally 100$ few days ago and now the price is back to 59$. So the best altcoin to invest in would be ethereum, xmr , maybe a little ripple and little litecoin as the price of it just increased by 3$ after more than a year. Or you could just invest in any bankroll at any trusted site

But holding altcoins for 2 to 3 years is a big risk as you never know what will be the price after that long period and there is also not guarantee that they will survive for that long period so its better to sell them off when its giving you good profits instead of holding it too longer.

Yes that is a very good suggestion to invest in bitcoin for a few years but in case of altcoin I will not recommend because in altcoin any thing can happen and anytime the price of it can drop to lowest value and then you will only regret

Investing that amount in bitcoin and holding it for a long term is the best decision instead of investing in altcoin and holding it as you never know what will happen to altcoin and it can even disappear with an blink of an eye so in that case you will loose all your money.

I scanned the thread quickly backwards and I was expecting to see Litecoin as a good investment to be mentioned. But I did not see one mention of it. If I am mistaken please tell me.

OP, Litecoin might be a good and "safe" investment you are looking for. There is an argument that it could come out better if Segwit is activated there but rejected in Bitcoin. So there will be more room for growth in LTC because it is more ready to scale.

If you are feeling a little bit dangerous and adventurous look into Ethereum Classic. No good reason except it is supported by Barry Silbert. If he is holding a lot of ETC then why not take the risk and follow him.

Altcoins cannot be a safe investment because they are cheap and easy to manipulate by the whales and you can't be sure that they will be stable on the price and if they will not dump. So i think investing in altcoins with those $2,000 is a bad idea and it is better to just buy bitcoins with that money and keep it and wait for the price to reach $1,500.

That's correct investing in bitcoin is safer in compare to investing in any altcoins as altcoin market involves huge risk so its better to invest in bitcoin as the price of bitcoin will definitely go higher in long run so you can get profits by selling when price goes higher.

I agree, however, it would take too long to make profit in bitcoin and also you have to trade huge amount of bitcoin so that your waiting would be worth. If an invetor knows how bitcoin volitile/pump quickly, then bitcoin would be an ideal form of their investment.

I think its worth to wait longer to make profits instead of loosing money by investing at a wrong place hoping to make quick bucks as altcoin doesn't guarantees you profits all the time but if you can hold bitcoins longer then you can certainly make some good profits from it.

Altcoins does give you an assurance in profiting, but with bitcoin you get an increased chance of profiting unlike the price moves. So it's better to hold for a better profiting or go buy mining equipment for bitcoin and start to earn a good amount which can be used further for other investments.

I heard some mixing services accept smaller Bitcoin investments but I am not sure which ones they are and if they still have the offer open though.

right now only one thing is very famous to invest. and that is ICOs.. I am not vouching for any specific ICO but few ICOs where I've invested my coins gave me hug profit when the coin listed in exchange..
lots of ICOs are running and millions of dollars invested into them by thousands of people. you may look in some of them.
for example. TaaS.fun. aeternity, wetrust etc.

right now the best investment option is to buy altcoins that are either low or on the rise. i have a couple of them that are low in my mind but not sure about them yet. but the coin on the rise is Litecoin and it is showing a lot of promise like the previous pumps. and by the time i am writing this litecoin is in a dip making it a good entry price.

other than that i say stay away from ICOs that most people suggest these days, they are highly risky and full of scams.

however, $ 2,000 was clearly visible is a very large number. when you invest in something that is right, then it would make a really profitable. but, when you want to invest, do it at the 60% thing is having success, because it can reduce the risk that you will encounter. you can see it on the response of the people. much stock can you find on the internet, and one project altcoin.

right now only one thing is very famous to invest. and that is ICOs..

Investing in ICO's is like gambling since there is no way you know what the outcome will be. Legit or not legit doesn't matter in this example. In most cases it's the pump and dump scheme ICO's that generate the highest returns as they are backed by large pump groups. But these ICO's when done are the one to sink very deep. I personally wouldn't want to expose myself to such high risks

Hi,
Not sure if it is for this toipc, please move it if needed. As the title says, I want to put $2k in something new, not buying coins, I have them in btc. What can be the best ROI and most secure way?
What you will do if you have additional 2k?
Thanks

If you don't want to buy new coins for trading. Then the only way to invest with that amount is invest in a casino bankroll. Try to invest in bitvest or any casino that has good reputation and you will grow that capital for months. But don't expect that you'll receive ROI very fast or make it double in less time.

2k usd is almost 2btc. And this is already a good starting investment for bitcoin trading. All you have to do is research for good alt coins currently in their lowest price. Allocate money from each them, and wait for them to grow along with your investment. Never buy an already pumped or coin on its highest price to avoid trade loss.

If you haven't invested your money already, check this out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1740641.0
The coins mentioned in this thread are definitely worth looking into, and will potentially turn into big profits by the end of the year.

If I were you, I would wait to buy bitcoins and just keep and forget about them in the next couple of months/years. You can also invest in some local penny stocks or just keep the two grand and not keep them in a bank. Buy a share of ICOs and then try to familiarize yourself from there in terms of investing.

I will prefer to buy 2 btc with that amount and keep that 2 btc safe in my wallet without investing it any altcoins as price is expected to rise in the end of the year so selling 2 btc at that time can give me best returns on my investment.

Invest it NOT to cloudmining. Invest it NOT to Gambling site. Make a sure and wise investment. Invest it to trading site. Trade it with a rising coin and make a profit from your 2K usd.

Well if you are fancy of altcoins and think something very good is coming up and have good future you can invest in that . Else Ethereum is nice investment in altcoin along with btc. You can invest in 2-3 coins as per your risk appetite.

Well same has been said by several users that cloudmining websites are mostly scam. Better way for such a huge amount is investing into legit websites that give trusted return for the investment periodically.

Investing in those companies are very risky since you only meet those companies online and not in person. If you want to invest in companies make sure you already saw their place and you already meet the people behind to the company that you're investing. Do not invest in companies that can only be found in the internet be smart and don't invest in hyips.

Yes but its very hard to have face to face conversation when it comes to online investment and that makes it very risky so I think the better choice would be to invest in real world where you can meet them in person and you have gone through all valid paper work.

Not really that huge, the return is very small in a casino but if here prefers small return but safe then I guess it would be nice to invest in a casino.
Me, if you will ask me I will use that amount in trading, the real money is in trading and I'm pretty sure you will get a better return if you will improve your skills in trading.

I cannot agree with you about the part that 2000$ investment (not related to cryptocurrencies) will turn out really profitable.

Investing 2000$ in something legal, for example giving money to banks or investing programme probably will give you annual interest of 4-5% at maximum, and it is already a big return from that kind of an investment.

I dont understand the part about reducing risk, if you do some risky investment you usually cannot reduce it by yourself if it is about crypto.
It is better to stay safe instead of risking what you cant afford to lose.

I agree with your option as you can see everyday you can get 5 to 10% of fluctuation in price of bitcoins so trading will give you surely daily profit but it has to be done in systematically so that you should not get stuck and end up in loss.

Nothing is sure shot in trading as if he buys altcoin at certain price and if price drops then he will surely get panic and will sell at the cheaper price which will not be profitable and you can make daily profits from it only if you don't miss the right time to buy and sell.

If I have additional $2000 dollar and don't know what to do with it, I would like to try lending service on Poloniex. Peoples said that's the legit way to invest your money, not in the company, but you give peoples who want to make money in that company with fund from you. What makes it  unique is we have to analyze the man we want to give the fund, and every decisions is in our hands. I choose it for secure, transparent, personal and it's on time.

I love to agree for real state investment rather than putting some huge money on unsure situation.

Remember online investment is so risky not unless if he invest in his own online business and rebuild some name and compete with others who cames first.

And tradings is not a happy go lucky scene always since their are some certain scenarios that we doesn't know on what is the devs plan for his coin and suddenly do some bad or good moves about that can totally affects us a lot.

But what real estate investment we can find at $2k price? As here in my country I won't find any thing to buy with that low amount especially if its related to property as the prices of properties are too high so that investment is not possible for me and will prefer to invest either in bitcoin or potential altcoins.

Property requires significant amount to invest, there are no options for $1-2k. Trading is OK but it involves risk and requires experience and dedication.
But none of them can make you rich, start-ups can. Value of a successful start-up may grow 100 times in a few years.

I know how to invest in start-ups safely and I mean absolutely safely - via escrow, with a full money control. And it's not difficult, buy a share of a start-up online and see how it grows in value.

This is the best investment for me together with bitcoin. But it's better to see your investment. When you've got real estate or land you can simply use it for building an establishment that can be your very own business and investment or you can also use it for renting that can generate monthly income which is guaranteed.

For the start i think much better to invest in bitcoin it will grow faster, after you will generate income or your investment got doubled then that is the time to invest for the real estate or land because value of bitcoin is increasing much faster than land for now that is why i recommend it to invest in bitcoin first.

Investment in bitcoin is risky but good at the same time because even it is risky there still a chance to get a lot of profit in just a short period of time. The only good thing in real estate investment is, it is 100% sure that you will earn money passively and you don't need to worry about the fluctuations of the price because there is nothing to do with real estate investment. So if you want to be in a safe zone then real estate is the best but if you want risky but high possibility of higher return then go for bitcoin. Both are good but depends in your needs.

The same thing as I want to do if I have this amount, it's better to buy bitcoins right now because many believes that it is on it's way to pump.

But maybe I will use half of it and the remaining will be invested to bankroll of casino maybe $250 and $250 also for alt coins.

I guess that division is already good enough for a bitcoin investor.

Had you asked this question earlier I'd have advised you to buy Snap shares which you could have flipped at a nice profit using leverage.
Does anyone know of any trading sites that accept BTC as a payment method?
eToro, but I'm not sure

It's pointless to invest $250 into casino bankrolls with returns being on the lower side, and that after quite some months.

Let's assume your investment into a casino bankroll does very well, and you manage to gain like 10% after a month or 6, then it's still just $25 in profits that you have made.

In that case, I would more likely use the entire remaining of $500 to invest in altcoins. SegWit as implementation on altcoins makes their price go nuts, maybe that you can take advantage of that.

Well there's no point only if you do have that capital, but it's about diversifying all putting your money on different places.

We know that returns from casino's aren't that big and it depends on the total sales of that site.

Taking the advantage and positive output of Segwit on alt coins, well go for bitcoin too instead as it will make the price pump.

Buy bitcoin now while the price is still low.

Yes that is what most of the members in our forums says that it is always better to diversify or do not put all our money in just one investment, even investing in bitcoin only is not good because it is risky and anytime the bitcoin has a chance to get a low price. It is better to invest in most of the profitable field like bitcoin, altcoin,ICO and investment sites. Make your capital very flexible to have a wide source of income.

Agree with you dude, if op have $2000 the good investment is bitcoin you buy bitcoin and then keep for few months or maybe 1 year more until the price increaae and for sure if you do that you earn money . I dont like online scam sites like hyip or ponzi. It cannot help to grow your bitcoin if you invest that your money loss so if you want to be safe your money you should invest in bitcoin. OK let me tell you something: here is the start-up I was talking about http://www.tiptopfund.com/product/thesyndicus/

its shares cost 0.05BTC, 22 shares left

after they are all bought out ts next portion of shares will cost 0.06BTC

thus, within 1 month you get 20%

and so on

and this is not a ponzi because the start-up really grows and develops its business

trust? funds are stored at escrow, if anything goes wrong you get your money back

How can we trust to a newbie keep saying that our money will grow up like 20% in a month? I don't think that site is a legit one because if it is a legit then there is a lot of topics or threads that are keep discussing about your site and one more thing is, you site is not even secured, so how can you say that it is worth to invest when you are lacking of those things and your site is kinda slow and it shows that it is lacking of source of money to provide faster and more secured site.

Don't be fooled especially on newbies like offering investment sites, there's a lot of scammers around here so beware always. Anyway, you can still join the altcoin trading with bitcoin, I know you can make profit out of it, just choose the competitive coins and has the potential to grow.

If you are new to bitcoin and trading world and if you have to invest in altcoins then the best thing would be to choose the top 10 altcoins that are playing around since long time and to make profits from it you also should have a great level of patience and if you lack patience then trading is not for you.

Not only those interest to earn money online are going to get interested in bitcoin, in fact most of the interest in bitcoin comes from people with a lot of money already since they are interested in investing and trading rather than to try to earn their way in bitcoin.

If I have that amount to make an investment then without thinking much I would simply buy bitcoins and keep them safe in my wallet and wait for the price hike as at a moment I think that is the only best and safe investment to make instead of falling for some other online scam sites.

That's why most of the people here are very familiar with the saying that "don't put all your eggs on one basket".

Actually, I just learned that quote here in forum and it is a real and very good suggestion for all of us and credits to whom who ever created it.

I just want to clarify with what you had mentioned about "investment sites" because it might lead newbies here.

There are investments sites that are scams, ponzi's, cloud mining and HYIP and all of them are scams so beware on where you are going to invest.

No need to trust, you put the money to the escrow. If anything goes wrong you take your money back, no questions asked. Neither TipTopFund nor any of start-ups touch any money. What I create is an opposite thing to all ICOs, casinos and other way to take your money. I create an online environment where everyone - you or anyone else - can benefit from bringing ideas to life. I've just started so there are many glitches on the website but the approach does work. I understand it is hard to trust anyone online but in TipTopFund nobody can take tour money!. We can really create something big and innovative using such a transparent and honest approach to business, and earn a lot.

Investing in own business cannot be compared with gambling in casinos.

Can i ask you, how do you "invest" in trading?
I assume that means you will deposit money to some broker, which will allow you to trade bitcoins, or just onto some trusted cryptocurrency exchange to use these funds as a bankroll.
But you could also mean that you are willing to invest this money into trading education, and to be honest that does not sounds like a good idea.

You may get knowledge and skills, but not for cash: you need to spend a lot of effort to learn many important lessons in trading, money will not do that job. But in fact, there are people who can teach you trading for money, but be very careful in accepting such an offer. It is very important to find a correct, legit person who is really good when it comes to trading.

Invest in Ethereums  :) I think that in near future (1-1.5 years) it will costs 100$ per 1 eth.  ::)

How can you guaraantee that if it is invested in Ethereums, then it will cost 100$? Is there any evidence of yours that you can guarantee by that? If not, then i think you should not motivate him by this.

The most secure way probably just hold your bitcoin, but if you want to increase your money and looking for a reliable investment, gambling investment as bankroll maybe the best option instead of lend it on exchanges which has very small interest.
But, if I have 2K worth in bitcoin > probably, invest on real world, make a business which in my place do not need so much money but could give great income depend on your management.

That is just a simple prediction, impossible to know exactly if eth will be pricing 100$ in this near future. If there were any argument to proove his point it could inspire more investors to adopt eth, but I think it's not better than bitcoin.
Holding bitcoin I can guarantee you it will be pricing at least 2000$ in near future, because that is what we saw on the last years and that is what always happened, bitcoin doesn't stop rising.

There is no assurance that ethereum will reach that $100 mark price because it is still young and all the price that you see for the ethereum is all about hype and it is advisable to ride the hype with care because the only sure people that will make profit to that are the whales or the big players in the market so it is best to be very careful in investing.

Buy some altcoins and wait for it until its price rise up and sell it away . Save some of them in bank and use them in mutual fund investment schemes .but be careful in investing because these are subject to market risk .plz read all the documents and then invest in it.

yes this is true, try to invest it in alt coins, trading is good but know the possibilities and be familiar in all the aspects regarding bitcoins and its alternative coins, it should be a big money my friend.

Nice to see some people taking advantage and start advertising their tiptaptoop ideas and services :D if I were you I'd go for Iconomi because it's legit and has some bright future ahead.
Altcoins are jokes and obvious manipulation, however I can still buy and sell both BTC and LTC at my local/domestic exchange, can you buy anything with ETH in the real world outside of online/ internet world?
Ethereum is a fancy joke making a joke out of crypto giving literally the opportunity to everyone to easily by a few clicks launch their own smart contracts/ tokens even though Iconomi is running on ETH chain but I am considering it a joke.
Many people ask why bitcoin is the king and the number one? well you need to search a bit more online and on exchanges and look and analyze the charts and compare them with each other to see why.

That $2k is already a big amount if you are going to invest into some alt coins, you really need to know what are the possible alt coins that has a very positive movement and as the price of bitcoin is increasing, together some alt coins are also riding with what's happening with bitcoin so that's a good place to invest your btc.

Yes you'r correct, the bitcoin and most of the altcoins that have high volume in the market is the best to invest our money because they are volatile and they are more tend to go up in terms of price rather than falling down. We can see that bitcoin is already pumping up and the price could reach $2k before the year ends.

If I will be at your place then Ofcourse I will invest in the altcoins the reason is not to get small fraction of the profit by Investment , here my thinking is to make millions with the altcoins Investment .
I will surely will buy two altcoins one is MONEY coin , this is coin not still now but has a big stable base and better background of support.
My second Investment will be in the DGB , no doubt that the value of one dgn is equal to 70satsohi ( average ) , but you can see the turnover daily taken with the DGB in every exchage ( last day goes 427+BTC turn over) .
I will buy dgb and will put in the official wallet for 5 years .

Somehow psychologically not mature enough to invest in the crypto currency. But in general the idea is worthy of attention to me. Perhaps if I had more finance at my disposal, then I would venture to invest. While only earning.

Yes, it is good to invest in the crypto as new gateways are opening for the crypto currency. People, who invested in the crypto currency, are enjoying the highest ratio of profit in the market. It may be that bitcoin or any other digital currency but also you have to make prepare yourself for any type of loss anytime.

I always recommend stocks. It depends on what kind of risk you're looking to take though. If you want to grow that $2k into something larger over the next 5-10 years then I'd say buy some large cap high dividend yeild stocks like vz, att, etc. If you want to take a larger risk over a shorter period of time then I like trading low cap tech stocks. I've been focusing on those for almost a year now and I've nearly doubled my initial investment.

Not all revenue share sites are trusted others also scam. Because its look like pyramiding first come first payout.  And also experienced before I joine revenue and after that all money run of the founder and there was senario even if how long revenue site live they have possible to close. Revenue site like hyip after lauching you count only weeks or maybe months after that your money loss .

Few altcoins seems to profit more than 200%, so it's better to invest into those. This profits you big if it once again pumps in a short as cryptocurrencies are in the pumping rally. Bitcoin too is an good choice but when it comes to profiting it is assured but can't expect big as you can afford little coins.

Yeah I don't understand but alt coins are rising together with the rise of bitcoin. There's no other place that I can think of for that amount of $2k. The best place would be alt coins but make sure that you are confident investing so that there's regret in the end.

Investing in casino sites can give you good profits only if you choose a legit investment site and at a moment its very hard to find any genuine site for making an investment and someone else will be having control on your money and their performance will decide your profit or loss so the better choice would be to invest in different altcoins who holds higher volume.

Bitcoin too is an good choice but when it comes to profiting it is assured but can't expect big as you can afford little coins.

I don't support to any altcoins which is against bitcoin. There was talk about the altcoin some years before in this site. Many of the people said that none of the altcoin will come across the bitcoin but now altcoin is increasing more than bitcoin and moving towards the popularity.

There are many good altcoins like etc, eth, xmr who has a great potential to shine in long run and people who have invested in those coins at a right time have already made some good profits so if I would be having that capital to invest then I would diversify that capital in different altcoins with higher reputation.
