Does not make sense. You should collect all the money, and share it equally from the start between all investors... Is it someone trustworthy? This all does seem a little sketch because you've only been on the forums 3 days. Anyone who comes straight in asking for money is usually a scammer. I would be willing to confirm order/identity if you PM me a screenshot of your order, showing shipping address, and a copy of your ID. Edit: Are you not selling the rig?
