Title: XMR transaction not showing in the blockchain
Post by: Davkul on March 04, 2017, 10:55:23 PM
I don't know what the fuck is going on nor do I know if I'll have my money back.
Fact is that I sent a payment through my monero wallet (I'm using bittrex) to purchase something on coinpayments, and the coinpayments transaction status is still the same, 0.0000000 xmr received even thought I sent 1.45813000 xmr and the transaction is even signed as completed on my Bittrex account so I don't know what this shit is about.

However I tried to look up the tx id and apparently there's actually no transaction tied to that tx, what the fuck.
Mind explaining? I mean, it's been hours.

Relax.

Anon is a feature not a bug

Kind of hard to be relaxed when it's been like 3 hours  since I sent it and I only got one more hour left by coinpayments, they only give you 4 hours to get the transaction confirmed and I hardly doubt I will get a refund if I can't prove I sent it (by providing the tx, id which in my case IS NOT WORKING).

You lost your money. Stop using something you don't understand.

"Stop using something you don't understand"
Are you retarded? I did nothing wrong.

I did a withdraw on mymonero.com and since Feb 10 i havent receive any reply, sent several emails to:
feedback@mymonero.com and support@mymonero.com
since i pay for tx fee and wallet receives, its sad to neither receive a email reply.... no cash... no reply from support.

note: i did several deposits and withdraws before.  :-\

What the others are trying to tell you is that the whole point of monero is that you can't see the transaction on the blockchain.  That's the whole point, that's its claim to being anonymous.  You're not the only one who's just discovering the fatal flaw in the design...

Well however they do provide a txid and you can look it up.
I looked up all my previous transactions and txid was fine, the transaction was showing.
This transaction basically doesn't even exist lol. I doubt a big company as coinpayments would scam me.

Hey, fuders , that's why Monero is the only secure, private and untraceable currency at all. You can't see the transaction without the payment id. 80000 monthly transactions and only 1 unhappy post pro month tells the problem is not in the coin, but in the main hardware in front of the keyboard

Great, I'm sure you can help solve Davkul's problem then  :)

This "problem" is now resolved. I contacted the support, they said the transaction was orphaned and they credited my account. "You lost your money, stop using something you don't understand" HA massive faggot suck my dick.

If it is NOT ON THE BLOCKCHAIN or Mempool... it is NEVER the coin itself, 99,9% of the time its likely the service you used had the problem, like you see in that case that the txs hit an orphan, could probably solved in the feature when the exchanges have software that can resend in those cases.
