Title: purse io giftcards?
Post by: biglemon29 on March 06, 2017, 01:27:38 AM
So I have just made my first purchase of bitcoins on Purse. I accidentally accepted an offer that took a week to ship so it took a week to get my bitcoins. How does gift card purchasing on purse work? Do I instantly get my coins because the online code transfer is instant? Do I need to forward the code I get to the buyer?

Process is same for selling your amazon gift cards you have to wait till goods were delivered to buyers.

To convert Amazon gift card balance to bitcoin, you’ll need to purchase merchandise for other Purse users on Amazon. Once that merchandise arrives and shopper confirms the order on Purse, bitcoin will be released to you from escrow.

You will receive your bitcoin once the buyer confirm he got the gift card, no difference with a normal item. If it is about an virtual gift card code you receive them instantly normally. In any case the bitcoin are released once the byuer receive what he ordered from you

Ok, I would like to earn btc at purse.io. And I see that some people are ready to overpay 40-50% in btc for amazon goods. What's the point? I think it would be cheaper to change btc somewhere and buy with credit card. Are they scammers?

I don't understand your post, but those using their gift cards to buy something for someone else do it because it is difficult to transfer amazon gift cards and that is why as a buyer you can get discounts when buying from purse.io so it is a win/win, the buyer gets cheaper goods and the sellers get rid of their gift cards for bitcoin.
