Yep. Or antivirus itself is a trojan :)

It seems that you downloaded from the official Litecoin page and problem is not with the file you downloaded but your antivurs contains trojan itself.

Maybe the anti-virus software hasn't updated their newest virus base, thus they alerted them as virus. But it is pretty safe.

Some perspective..
Miners have been bundled in Malware before.
Hell some Torrent programs did this to their users with an update before.
So..
It means out in the wild there are miners tacked onto things.
Are miners a virus ? no.
But you could get infected with one..

And.. most wallets have a built in miner !
Hence the alerts..

Wallets & Miners have always gotten a lot of false positive hits on AV programs.
Consider it as a possible warning and no so much a confirmed virus type thing.
The AV programs are trying to WARN users sometimes.

If we install the wallet and turn on mining then it's fine.
But if my Grandma had a miner on her PC then she would benefit from a warning about it.

If you downloaded it from the official Litecoin site, it should just be a false positive. If you're still unsure, try running it in a sandbox to detect any suspicious activity.

Don't use 360 Total security, try Bitdefender or https://www.virustotal.com/

I didn't ever hear 360 security in the best list of the antivirus and it looks like the bullshit antivirus, just try to download the better antivirus such as Norton, or Avira.

You can upload it to VirusTotal and then look for feedback comments from the public too.
I'd do it now and post what it says but i have not had a wallet for 2 years roughly.

Watch out though.. sometimes it does happen.
I have seen coins launched with a virus in the wallet and later with an update too (by a famous dev)

Five alarm means it is indeed has a virus on it,I'll believe it is a false positive if there's only one or two red alarm but definitely a five is something you don't want to run in your computer,if this wallet comes litecoin official,then it could have a bad effect in their reputation

what you should always do:

• Download from the official source (in this case check the link in picture it seems to be correct)
• Check the signature of the file you downloaded to make sure it is authentic (this is important and people always forget it)
• If the previous two were correct and your antivirus still warns you, submit the file for analysis (all AVs have this option that you upload it to the AV servers directly through the AV window). and ask them why they are detecting this as a malware in an Email or in the same window. if it was a false positive, it will (most probably) be removed in the next AV update depending on how good or bad the AV support team are.
• as an alternative you can always go to the github repository and build the wallet directly from the source code on your own. they all should have a guide on how to do it.

I do not think so because according to ESET Antivirus scanning safe and I have tried scanning with the scanner Virus online and offline litecoin result Wallet Secure-safe only

use only bitdefender pro  :)
