Handed out a few thousand coins today to friends and new people interested in FC through BTC-E trollbox.   I have a small blog for LTC called http://litecoinpayitforward.com.  I plan to do something very similar for FC tonight. Also helping my non technical friends set up wallets. 

I work as an IT trainer (mainly Cisco), looking to accept FC services at the end of the week.  It's not a lot, but trying to do my part.

Can't seem to find the wallet file for this under Win XP (feathercoin-qt.exe).

Searched for wallet.*  *.dat, feathercoin*     - No luck.

Maybe it's hiding somehow under admin permissions ?

I just joined the bandwagon yesterday. FC wise.

I'm on the BTC-e trollbox from time to time. Being Australian, it's usually at the end of the busy period and start of the quiet period :D

looking in wrong areas goto control panel and goto folder options show hidden files and folders apply

now goto the following

C:\Users\user account\AppData\Roaming\Feathercoin wallet.dat found in that folder hay presto ull find your others their too :)

I'm on Win XP... there's no C:\Users even though my folder options say Show Hidden. I'll keep looking... Thanks :)

Update: found it under:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Feathercoin

Hey all,

Just a small issue I think there might be with the current FC logo.

It looks like it is already a used image, for an item in a jewelry store I've noticed on google images.

I'm not sure about it, but if the actual owner were to find it being used without attribution (at the least) they may have an issue with it being used, and wouldn't this cause unnecessary issues?

Google image search finds it and I won't link to it in case there are no issues and I don't want to direct traffic elsewhere.

but just thought I'd mention it, as I've not seen any mention of it..

I do understand your concern though, and while valid, I have no devious plans.  You can check the original announcement thread to see that payouts are indeed taking place and I'm doing everything I can to make sure this pool operates as expected!  I hope to be able to not only gain the trust of the other members of this community, but also yours :)

This is a standard PPLNS Pool and it is the beta release.  Everything "should be" working, but that's why it's in beta for now.

According to feathercoin.com it will take another 11 days before difficulty adjusts.

Is that accurate, or is the stats page bugged? Shouldn't take that long ...

Or is it because difficulty went down from 188 to under 60?

hashrate went down... with the current difficulty .. it will take a while to finish those blocks
