Title: Razer zVault - zGold and zSilver - Is it a cryptocurrency?
Post by: ResistantLaw on March 08, 2017, 07:02:13 PM
Hey guys, I got an interesting email today, and it seems like there were a bunch of articles posted yesterday about it. Don't know if it has been talked about here.

Here is the official razer link: https://zvault.razerzone.com/

zVault is a virtual currency wallet. (It never says cryptocurrency)

With zVault you can have zGold and zSilver, and I guess you can earn these or buy them. So at first glance it is just some reward points that you get for buying from them. But from what I'm reading, it seems you can just buy the coins and use them. One of the articles I read mentioned it being like "bitcoin + xbox live points". They say they want it to be the online payment solution for gamers.

Idk what do you guys think? Stupid or maybe could actually become something? Is this even a cryptocurrency? If anything, maybe it will at least introduce some newcomers to cryptos.

Says the price is 100 zGold = $1 USD at launch.

It's definitely not a cryptocurrency.

It's definitely not a cryptocurrency.

They sure try to make it sound like it, without specifically saying cryptocurrency.
