I have a public address that doesn't have a private key. Is there anyway to find it or get a new one???

Also have an address that won't confirm... been waiting 5 days now.  >:( >:( >:(

That depends.  Where did you get the address and how did you lose the private key.


No.  It is not possible to get a new private key for an address.


Addresses don't confirm.  I assume you mean you have a transaction that won't confirm?

In that case there are a few likely reasons.  You'd have to provide the transaction ID for us to tell you exactly what's happening and what to do about it.

Likely causes are:

• You paid an insufficient transaction fee
• The inputs to the transaction are unconfirmed
• Your wallet created an invalid transaction
• Your transaction was valid when you created it, but has now become invalid
