Yes of course there were many sites like directbet.eu is now accepting btc as payment and it's so fun to play and has lucky profit chances. Those sites accepting btc payments really helped a lot of people who wantes to play gambling even with small amounts to bet in a digital values, anyway it was exchanged automatically from wallet fiat to btc transaction if you have deposits.

Yes i think only steam that only accept bitcoin but i hear only in some countries, it's mean not all from us can use bitcoin for buy their games if im not wrong for who live in russian can't use bitcoin for buying games at steam.

You should try http://chopcoin.io/ , this is game like Agar.io where you compete with other members. The rule is to eat small dot/other players and be a top on leader board in the match to get the reward IIRC.

Gambling is also Online Game, so you have to be specific with the question.

flappybird for mobile was accepting bitcoin as a payment, but there are only niche game like this one that accept bitcoin, if you are looking for big game there are none, and not only steam accept bitcoin, as a payment, humble bundle also accept bitcoin

Its confusing on which game is op talking about because there are types of games does exist online either on gambling games,sports,mmropg if hes searching for game like pc games then i do know one which is steam that they do accept bitcoin as a payment for purchases.

since the OP is not explain what he's asking, we only guess of what OP wants and maybe we can not give the right answer. i think there many online games use bitcoin as payment but we don't know about that. and since i am not playing online games like mmorpg, action, racing, i can not give the right answer for the OP.

Humble Bundle and Steam accept bitcoin. If you're looking for specific games that will take Bitcoins to get things, CS:GO is a good one. You can use your Bitcoin to purchase skins in the game. Also, there's many places to bet on games. Such as Nitrogensports in my sig

Not as far as I know, I do think you can sell you skins on G2A and have the option to withdraw your money to Bitcoins. I haven't tried it yet though.

Not sure if that is what OP is looking for. Maybe he is looking for an online game like WoW, Ragnarok, League of Legends, DotA 2, etc. kinds of games to use bitcoins in. Not really purchase games. So far I don't think there are any online games that accepts bitcoins yet. Though I think it is a great idea to have one as bitcoin is the new online currency.

Yes, there are all kind of games accepting bitcoins as payment. Mmorpgs, online casinos, steam... You can play any kind of game these days using your bitcoins, but please, tell what game you are talking about more specifically.

Please make it clear OP, are you talking about gambling sites? If yes, there are plenty of gambling sites that accepts bitcoin here, just search on the gambling section and you can find plenty of sites their and you can choose any games you want. G2A is not accepting bitcoin directly, they are using BitPay to manage all transaction.
So I was under the impression that you can't withdraw your balance in form of BTC.
I need to sell my DOTA2 Items and test that feature out.
Side note: on G2A  all payouts have a security processing time of 7 days.

I'm a bit confuse with your question. We are in gambling discussion so I guess you are pointing out those "online game" as bitcoin gambling sites or casino's. And well, since we are in bitcoin gambling, casino's are actually paying and receiving bets with bitcoin and as well as alt coins. If you are asking about online game, I know steam does.

Yeah, that's right! I remembered i played floppy bird on my mobile android phone which I am able to earn satoshi every time I play, And I think minecraft also connected into bitcoin, while play you gain bitcoin. ;D

I didn't expect that playing flappybird can earn you bitcoin since the only thing that I knew that there are some online game payment processors do accept bitcoin that can purchase game credits on different games online.

I remember reading once some announcement thread about guy who wanted to create minecraft server powered by bitcoin.
He wanted to have bitcoin based economy and test how this project will evolve. I don't know if he succeeded or not.

I don't know if any games such as those on steam accept payments in BTC but I know that you can play games on sites for BTC. For example you can bet on sports with BTC, etc.

I too haven't come across any such website other than steam accept bitcoin in terms of bitcoin. I think in future when bitcoin get used as the only source to use in gambling sure we can see more websites similar to steam accepting bitcoin in terms of bitcoin directly or through an intermediary service provider.

Depends on what an "online game" is, if it's a casino, bitcoin gambling website and hence game, Yes. There are plenty of sites accepting and taking BTC, just check the gambling forum for them.

if you mean a skill-based game, there are few. Not chess of course but some games pop-up once in a while, difficult to last since computers would play better than humans most of the time.

if you mean a free game giving BTC, There was coinhopper and minesweeper before, not seeing many right now, but there should be one or two still running.

If this will implements on google play store or even in app store then people will be happy if this happen it will be easy that we wouldn't need to use our credit to pay online game or in facebook application there are plenty website that accept bitcin as payment that not that litelary online game application it always on the browser.

Ever heard of directbet? They accept and pay in Bitcoins and there are countless number of them out there , I'm only suggesting thus because I use them most of the time.

It's true, it would be a very welcome feature for google play store. Also, game developers looking for donations could start accepting Bitcoins, it's easier to send tips to them and I'm sure they would have more profit that using only fiat that is more complicated as many people don't like to use their credit cards on the internet or don't have credit cards, I'm one example of that, and sometimes I would like to give donations to good game developers and I can't.

You need to be more specific. This is on the gambling section so we would assume you mean gambling games. But since we sre in the gw!bling section thst would be an incredibly stupid question to ask. So I will assume you ment video games and just didn't know which section to use.

Apex conquer is on this forum I forget the link just google it. It uses bitcoin.  There is dark knights of valor too and there are other less direct ways to buy ingsme items with bitcoins for example buying a voucher with bitcoins for an online game. Google those things and ask around on the threads you find  you're bound to find something.

i am not yet to found any online games that use bitcoin as payment because almost all games that i know is only use paypal or credit card. so i think if some developer wants to make a games and use bitcoin as payment, this will be a good opportunity for the dev and i think he can make a lot of money from this.

It's a good initiation on bitcoin getting accepted for gaming needs. Possibly bitcoin will gain a little popularity through this step on gaming industry. At the same only very few among the gaming people prefer to play paying fiat or other sources. Everyone are interested on playing free of cost.

here in our country we have that kind of application which is you can use bitcoin to buy game credits. It is very possible as long as you have a reliable site or application that is accepting bitcoin exchange with game credits.

you are just taking an extra step. why not just play with bitcoin directly? and that is what all the online casinos i have seen have been doing. you go in, deposit some bitcoin, play, and in the end withdraw all your funds if you want.
buying "game credit" means you deposit bitcoin once, buy credit, then play, and in the end you have to convert it back to bitcoin to withdraw! and how will that be calculated? based on USD value of bitcoin or 1:1 with bitcoin

Because you created this thread on the gambling discussion, so I assume online game that you mean is online gambling. If it does not correspond to what you mean, maybe you should be more detailed your question :)
Bitcoin as payment is used by many game sites like gambling, even gambling sites who previously use a credit card now add bitcoin as a payment method. Maybe payments "anonymous" that makes gamblers more secure if want to gamble, this is a good method for gamblers so many sites that accept bitcoin as a payment. It is also can increase their profits because is also many people are gambling with bitcoin.

I don't mean to derail this thread but Steam already accepts btc when you want to put some balance in your account they use bitpay as the payment processor for those who don't know.

He's talking about gambling on games looking at his previous post on page 2. Also the thread is made on gambling discussion so there's no need to be confused.

I am not sure there is any game that accepts bitcoins rather there are gambling sites that provide gambling opportunities, by game I mean like there are not many sites that have multiplayer games or single player strategy games to play with bitcoins.
Though there are many in development and one of them I m personally involved in, soon should be launched.

I have never seen an online game that accepts bitcoin as a payment method. I see people saying that it's very popular, but I suppose they are wrong, the sites they say are just gambling sites and betting, it's not an online game. They misread the problem. I think online game developers have not intended to use bitcoin, so they have not applied it in their games yet. However, I very much hope that happens.
