Make sure you have around 100GB of free space https://blockchain.info/charts/blocks-size (https://blockchain.info/charts/blocks-size). Then you will need a headless bitcoin core. (the bitcoind)

You need to go and download the latest version of Bitcoin Core from their website (https://bitcoin.org/en/download).

You'll also need to read their Requirements and Warnings page (https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-core/features/requirements), which says, among other things, that you should have over 125GB of disk space, that some antiviruses might quarantine parts of the blockchain making it harder to run and that some internet providers might charge you for the extra bandwidth.  Make sure you're prepared.

EDIT:  I see that Digitalocean is a cloud computing service, so some of the notes about your internet will not matter.

Ok I can give some information if you want to install the cli daemon. It is pretty simple, first make sure the have the space for the bitcoin core (around 100+ GB).

Then follow the steps which is in this post that I posted before https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1843078.0
