Title: Minergate Profit calculator not correct ?
Post by: rinus on March 09, 2017, 05:00:10 PM
Hey guys

According to minergate calculator for Monero, I should mine 0.012 xmr in 1 hour for 2800 hashrate... I mine constantly at 2800 ( every 90 minutes a quick system restart ) and I am only getting an average of 0.008 xmr an hour. Where is the other 0.004 xmr??? Any ideas? Much appreciated :)

The calculator at Minergate is like that.
I too get only about 65 % of what it says.

Download nice hash miner and delete minergate. It has a nice GUI, but it's the worst miner ever

Will Profit be bigger with other miner? I use cgminer for mining and I use minergate as pool.

Yeah I tried claymore but I get a lot more crashes and a lot more faulty shares. Claymores is a bit faster I know, but that does not change anything on the fact the calculator gives a much higher profit then it actually is... Or am I doing something wrong?

Is there anybody here that gets approximately what a calculator predicts? I think a 33 procent difference is quite much... New miner, new pool? Please advise
