Title: Getting started working on a Tip Bot for this forum
Post by: Tipper on April 21, 2013, 05:26:46 AM
I wrote a facebook app to send bitcoins to your friends a few weeks ago:
https://www.facebook.com/appcenter/bitcoin-tx

Now I'm looking to get started working on a tip bot for this forum.
This thread will probably be used for initial testing but feel free to discuss as well.

Hmm search is quite spotty... maybe an open source simple machine forum plugin would be even better...

Holy god I thought the drupal source was a pig... simple forums 1.x is a blast from the past! This isn't going to happen instantly....

Good idea though, looking forward to testing it out when it's ready :)

Wait, are you trying to get your bot to search this forum (polling) for the term everytime someone uses it?

If so, that's insane. Just use the RSS feed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?type=rss;action=.xml
