Title: I have a gtx 1060 how much money I can make?
Post by: pornluver on March 10, 2017, 10:03:06 PM
My nice hash miner says I am going to make .0006 BTC (less than a dollar a day)

Is that the best I can make?

From equihash.

Anything better?

What's strange is, if I click check all profitability I go redirect to this page

https://www.nicehash.com/?utm_source=NHM&p=calc&name=Zotac%20GeForce%20GTX%201060%206GB&speed14=21.95&speed20=2.83&speed21=1.68&speed23=0.18&speed24=211.48&speed25=0.60&speed26=3949730.00&nhmver=1.7.5.1&cost=1&power=1

Which is bullshit. It says I will be making BTC300 per day

If I look here

http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/?sha256hr=9460.00&sha256p=2600.00&sha256pc=0.1000&sha256c=false&scrypthr=110000.00&scryptp=1000.00&scryptpc=0.1000&scryptc=true&x11hr=450.00&x11p=120.00&x11pc=0.1000&x11c=true&keccakhr=1000.00&keccakp=600.00&keccakpc=0.1000&keccakc=true&quarkhr=450000.00&quarkp=75.00&quarkpc=0.1000&quarkc=true&groestlhr=45.00&groestlp=825.00&groestlpc=0.1000&groestlc=true&blake256hr=11.20&blake256p=600.00&blake256pc=0.1000&blake256c=true&neoscrypthr=400.00&neoscryptp=400.00&neoscryptpc=0.1000&neoscryptc=true&lyra2rev2hr=30.00&lyra2rev2p=600.00&lyra2rev2pc=0.1000&lyra2rev2c=true&cryptonighthr=2800.00&cryptonightp=600.00&cryptonightpc=0.1000&cryptonightc=true&ethashhr=108.00&ethashp=600.00&ethashpc=0.1000&ethashc=true&equihashhr=1180.00&equihashp=600.00&equihashpc=0.1000&equihashc=true&e=CEX.io

The way to go is not equihash.

The best coin is digital coin which is x11. I have no idea what hardware the coinwarz asume.

So what's going on?

Should I keep using nicehash (I won't. It's not worth it). Or should I buy hash from nicehash and keep some profit? What?

$1/day is about the max you can do with it, tomorrow less. So huge.

Still you've got ROI under 200 days with this assuming you bought at near 130, not too bad for a GPU. Just make sure the GPU gets aquedate cooling and you get a good and reliable PSU and you're good.

Also, is your electrical cost 10 cents per kilowatt? Just making sure as that is the default on most sites and yours could be different.

Yep thats what you will make. Minning ETH directly without Nicehash will probably net you a bit more. You can check whattomine. Keep in mind you power costs and etc.

I don't plan to mine with one card. I just wonder if I can scale this up. I don't know price of electricity in my home. Technically it's cheap.

Nicehash take 3% from buyer and 3% from seller. That's huge 6%.

Any alternatives?

Any where else I can mine without worrying what I should mine? Any software that integrate various mining software and automatically mine what works best?

3% from buyer and seller does not = 6% total fee to both end clients

Alternatively I would be paying a transaction fee to move the altcoins into an exchange, and moving the Bitcoin off of the exchange, and also the exchange spread fee when doing the exchange. NiceHash is far from a rip off

I have 4x gtx 1070 rig and on my pc I have a gtx 1060 3gb. I mine with it, it's less economical because my system takes more power than a mining rig. I'm betting on zec rising in value, so short term calculations mean little.

Use EWBF's Cuda miner for ZEC. you'll get between 290-340 sols/s on overclock, depending on how much ram you have. You'll get less than a zec a month but if it goes to $200 before you sell that's still pretty good.

For calculating your mining income you need to know a few things :

How much $ is your mining PC ?
What is the total power draw for your system at the wall ?
How much $/kwh you paying for electricity included tax and another fees ?
What is the max hashrate you can get from ur rig ?
What wallet / exchage you going to use (what % they charging you for exchange ) ?
What mining software you are using ? ( its free or have some % developer fee )
What pool are u going to use ? ( pool fee% )
What ROI (return of investment) do you prefer ...

what any of the calculators telling you today , that is just for just today ... if the difficulty going higher , your ROI can be doubled easy :)
when you have all this information , you can use any mining calculator :)
there is one for example for eth:

I mean the spread between buyers and sellers is around `6%. That's what I mean. Is it true? Quite big there.
